There is a common opposing view that states the year is considered wasted in terms of time and money. Even though I sympathize with the latter viewpoint, I would support the former one.

Modern technologies provide new solutions to the language barrier which was an unsurmountable problem in the past without human interpreters. Moreover, some individuals consider that auto translators can replace those people. From my way of thinking, I believe that interpreters are necessary due to the not literal meaning of the languages and the unreliability of those devices in crowded locations.
