Formal examinations are the only effective way to assess a student's performance. Continual assessment such as course work and projects is not a satisfactory way to do this. Do you agree or disagree?

Students' evaluation was always a subject of debates. According to some experts, conventional exams are the best tools to assess school performance, while others think that continuous year-round evaluation in form of assignments and projects is of greater importance. In my opinion, the combination of both should be considered the best method. This essay will examine my view in details.

In many countries, the government likes to spend more money on arts. However, others think government should spend more money on health and education. Discuss both sides and give your opinion.

The government shows a tendency to spend more money on arts than another important issue that has been thought about by many individuals. Contrary to, there is a broad idea that the budget of the government should be used for improving education and health. In my view, although arts have an irreplaceability for society, there are many significant topics, such as education and health, which are waiting to be solved as a first priority. The aim of this essay is to discuss the topic with both the merits and the demerits.

Crime has always been a major concern for civilized society. A number of people opine that the government should take more measures to stop anti-social elements, while others believe that this is being handled in an effective manner. This essay will discuss both views and I strongly support the former view.

Some governments spend a lot of public money training individuals to be successful in international sporting events. Some people believe that this money should be spent on things that will benefit the general public instead. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Still many governments use plenty of public resource training athletes to win medals for their own country worldwide. There are some opponents suppose that the public fund should be put on things that benefit citizen without any doubt. And that is what I would agree on.

Consumers are faced with increasing number of advertisements from competing companies. To what extent do you think are consumers influenced by advertisements? What measures can be taken to protect them?

It is proposed that vying organizations bombard customers with rising advertisements. In my opinion, consumers have been adversely impacted by this practice, which will be discussed in the detail in the following paragraphs along with relevant solutions.

Computers are being used more and more in education. Some people say that this is a positive trend, while others argue that it is leading to negative consequences. Discuss both sides of this argument and then give your own opinion.

In the contemporary era, it is often observed that computers are widely used in the field of education. Certain individuals believe that it is a positive development. However; others disagree and think it will lead to adverse ramifications. I personally side with the former view.

Nowadays,young people admire sports stars though they often do not set a good example. Do you think this is a positive or a negative development?

There is no doubt that role models are deeply influencing future generations. lately, popular athletics are considered as role models for youngsters despite some of them do not follow acceptable behaviour. I agree with the latter, and I shall elaborate on my opinion and explain my reasons.

Some people think that money should be spent on protecting endangered species while others think it is a waste of valuable money. What is your opinion?

Species plays a very important role in maintaining ecological balance and it is commonly believed by many that money should be spent on protecting endangered species, however, others think that it is a waste of valuable money. In my opinion, I believe that it will be good to spend money on helping to maintain these species and this will be discussed in the course of this essay.

Some people think that teachers should be responsible for teaching students to judge what is right and wrong so that they can behave well others say that teachers only teach students academic subjects discuss both views and give your opinion.

The teachers nowadays are held responsible for the all-round development of students. Some people are of the view that it is the teacher's duty to help children analyze the difference between good and bad in order to improve their behaviour while others believe that the teachers must focus on the academic development of students. From my perspective, pupils must be encouraged to develop both academic and social skills for better performance in their respective careers.

Civilization is almost similar throughout the world when compared with ancient time. In my opinion, this is a positive trend for the following two reasons.

Society is based on rules and laws. It could not function if individuals were free to do whatever they wanted to do. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

The community is run by strict principles and legal documents and it is believed that it could not work out well if everyone is allowed to independently commit whatever they desire. From my perspective, I strongly agree with the statement. This essay tends to elaborate on this matter thoroughly in the following paragraphs.

Students in schools and universities learn more from their teachers than through other means such as the Internet, libraries, and TV. To what extent you agree or disagree?

It is widely believed that students in school and colleges gain more knowledge from their teachers and professors than from the internet and television. However, I also think that online can provide a wide range of information from various categories which are easily available in just a click away.

Some people say that music is a good way of bringing people of different cultures and ages together. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

It is argued that music contributes to straightening bonds among individuals belonging to various cultures and generations. Even though I agree that music acknowledges neither gender nor age, however, I believe that, to some extent, it can also be a source of debates.

Some museums and art galleries charge admission fees, while others have free entry. Do you think the advantages of admission fees outweigh the disadvantages?

In the contemporary era, it is often observed that an individual needs to purchase a ticket in order to visit certain museums and art exhibitions. However, sometimes there is no entry fees to visit such places. Personally, I am inclined to the view that the merits outweigh the drawbacks.

The rapid development of technology allows students to get university and college degree by taking online courses. People have different opinions toward distance learning because it brings advantages and disadvantages. I will discuss both negative and positive sides of the online courses.

Currently, with the advancement of technology, students nowadays are allowed to take an online course instead of learning in a traditional way in order to get a college qualification. However, some people have against this idea because of its harmful impacts might cause. Thus, the objective of this article is to indicate both advantages and disadvantages of online courses.

Some people believe that unpaid community services should be a compulsory part of high school programs (for example working for a charity ,improving the neighborhood or teaching sport to younger children). To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Extracurricular activities play a vital role in children’s life. Some people think that these unpaid social services must be taught in school. However, some people think that there should not be any compulsion. I completely agree with that statement and my essay will discuss both viewpoints in a pragmatic approach.

Some people think that universities should provide graduates with the knowledge and skills needed in the workplace. Others think that the true function of a university should be to give access to knowledge for its own sake. Discuss both sides and give your own opinion.

Higher-level educational institutes give degree with various ideas and attribute which is needed in the job field. However, post-secondary institutions should teach that type of lessons that is inter-related to their students. From my perspective, after finishing studies from college learners should learn both their own part of skills and others so that they can adjust themselves in different situations what others are required. There are both advantages and disadvantages to this argument.

One problem faced by almost every large city is traffic congestion. What do you think the causes are? What solutions can you suggest?

In Metropolitan cities, Traffic jam is the underlying vital issue that is experienced all the time. However, I believe that the increasing number of motor vehicles are highly responsible for these jams while the public transit is going through the worst condition and would like to propound some of the remedies to tackle this situation. This essay will elucidate the root cause of increasing transportation block and the ways to mitigate these worsening conditions.

Some people think that the teenage years are the happiest time of most people’s lives. Others think that adult life brings more happiness, in spite of greater responsibility. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

Adolescents feel relax as they have a little task. However, accustomed get relieved as they can enjoy their tasks. From my perspective, youngsters are very happy in their life as they have only one work. There are both advantages and disadvantages of this argument.

Some people think that having a set retirement age (e.g. 65 years) for everybody, regardless of occupation, is unfair. They believe that certain workers deserve to retire and receive a pension at an earlier age. Do you agree or disagree? Which types of workers do you think should benefit from early retirement?

It is considered by a group of persons that getting early withdrawal should not have an age limit. As there are a few professions whose workers should have the right to get retired if they want to. I totally agree with this statement, as some employee with hard work of several hours per day must have the opportunity of getting early evacuation. I will further explain more about it in detail.
