Many high-level positions in companies are filled by men even though the workforce in many developed countries is more than 50 percent female. Companies should be required to allocate a certain percentage of these positions to women. To what extent do you agree?

In this day and age, the role of women has been promoted thanks to gender equality. However, it is a noticeable fact that higher positions in firms are still managed by men even though there are more than half of the employees are women. There is a question about whether there should be reserved some portion of them to females or not. I partly agree with this view.

Some people believe that young people who commit serious crimes should be punished in the same way as adults. To what extend do you agree or disagree.

It is a common belief that young people, accused of substantial crimes have to be pressed with the same charges and prosecuted with no difference from the adults. In this essay,I will present why I strongly disagree with this statement and provide the reasons for my opinion.

We are living in an era of globalization. The entire world has turned in to a ‘global village’. The diminution/ attenuation/dwindling of barriers on trade and other economic activities has made it feasible for the multinational companies to move around freely in different nooks and corners of the world. A popular stratum of society deems that this is a positive development as one and all are getting benefited out of it. However, I tend/ am inclined to think in the opposite direction. I think it is not bringing dividends to all and sundry. I would like to explicate it at length in the paragraphs to come.

For many centuries now, prisons have been one of the major known outcomes for most of the crimes globally. It has been a long time that there have been heated arguments and discussions on how to reduce crime in the society. The discussion vacillates between whether education or imprisonment can help in reducing crime rates. The advocates of education believe that it can help people realize their actions and its implications and help in curbing crime rates whereas the opponents categorically opine that nothing other than the harsh treatment in prison can help bring a change in the offenders. However, I believe that education can contribute to reducing the crime rates because when I recall the last couple of decades, it reminds me of the fact that the crime rates have decreased and this is linked to the fact that the literacy percentage globally has seen a rise in the same time.

It is believed by a few people that advancement in airways is only dedicated to the elite class and ,thus, common citizen is devoid of benefits from it. I disagree with this notion and reasons to strengthen my viewpoint are discussed in subsequent paragraphs.
