Advertising is all around us. It is an unavoidable part of everyone's life. Some people say that advertising is a positive part of our lives while others say it is negative. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

There is a general consensus that the community nowadays is surrounded by advertising but some of them often feel controversial about whether it is beneficial to their life or not. From my perspective, I strongly support both views since there are both positive and negative sides in equal measure.

Children today are too dependent on computers and electronic entertainment> IT would be better to encourage them to spend more time outside playing sports and games. Do you agree or disagree with this statement? Give your opinion.

The advancement of technology has brought about both pros and cons. One of the disadvantages of this phenomenon is the heavy dependence of youngsters on electrical devices for enjoyment. There is a statement saying that kids should be encouraged to do more outdoor activities for various benefits. In my opinion, I strongly approve of this idea.

Today, the high sales of popular consumer goods reflect the power of advertising, and not the real needs of the society in which they are sold. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Nowadays, people tend to share what they bought via social media in past decades. Many companies are willing to spend on advertisements to build up their brand name to become popular and be famous in order to boost companies' sales. I fully agree with most high sales of popular consumer goods could be reflected in the power of advertising. Let me illustrate my opinions in the below paragraphs.

It is often argued that violent content frequently displayed on media would negatively affect children's behaviour. I strongly agree that violence has a risk to offspring.

Nowadays, most of the products are available across the globe, and consumers are able to pick them up from any part of the world, which hence makes an argument that most countries look relatable amongst themselves. A t-shirt manufactured by "H & M" and "Nike" which is available in the United States can now be picked up from any shopping mall or e-commerce website in India. This shows us how far countries have evolved amongst themselves by bringing in multiple brands and cultures to cater for all types of communities around the globe. I believe, this brings about a positive development within different countries around their borders.

In the future, all cars, buses and trucks will be driverless. The only people travelling inside these vehicles will be passengers. Do you think the advantages of driverless vehicles outweigh the disadvantages?

As the popularity of driverless vehicles increases, various controversy has emerged as to whether the positive factors of those outweigh the disadvantages. I think that if the technology of transportation is ripe enough to overcome some difficulties, it must bring us a myriad of merits. I will discuss the advantages of it and some problems concerned.

In some schools and universities, girls tend to choose art subjects (e.r. literature) and boys tend to choose science subjects (e.g physics) Why do you think this is so? Should this tendency be changed?

Nowadays, some boys are interested in doing science subjects ,especially physics and girls students are willing to do literature subjects. To be honest, to some extent this is correct and to some extent it is wrong. In ,addition if there is this type of tendency it will surely be changed, it will be discussed in further paragraphs.
