It is true that pieces of art in today’s world can change hands for enormous sums. Works by artists such as Picasso, da Vinci and Rembrandt have been sold for millions of dollars. Recently, a Modigliani was sold to a billionaire for one hundred and seventy million dollars. It certainly seems obscene that such figures are spent when many people around the world live in poverty.

The issue of whether advertisements help or make us buy things we do not need is a matter of concern for many. Critics argue that ads inform the public about new products which can be essential to daily living, however others and I believe adverts encourage buyers to shop for unwanted products. This essay will discuss the latter view by using examples from Dail Mail UK magazine and TV advert, starring Rihanna.

It is often argued that teaching young persons at school about how to become a good parent is a good idea. I completely agree with this opinion and I think it is the best way to provide them from having trouble with their children in the future.

Nowadays we can see a forecast that all books and newspapers tend to exist only in virtual and non-payable form rather than to be published on paper and then bought. I strongly believe that online forms of news and books will replace hard copies completely due to their ineffectiveness.

Nowadays, International sports events are usually considered as a possibility for the host countries to have an incredible prestigious. In fact, some people argue that hosting these types of events, such as the Football World Cup or the Olympic Games, could only improve the status of the country that decides to accommodate athletes all over the world. On the contrary, some advocates think that these types of occasions are enormous bad for their country. In this essay, I will try to discuss both views and finally, I would state my own opinion regarding the matter.

There is no doubt that massive increase in demand for non-renewable resources like oil and gas worldwide. Perhaps some areas are still not receiving permission to open for more resources. I don’t agree to provide access to open windows of fossil fuel as it will create various non-curable diseases and this could also be impacting the environmental situation badly.

There is a common argument on whether academies have to enrol the balanced number of students for each faculty or not. In my opinion, it is completely unnecessary to be considerate about it, since people of different genders may not share the same interests and population disbalance makes it even more impossible.

Some people believe that our elder community knew how to behave, think and live. However, some think that those ideas are older and not suitable for the new generations. I partially agree with the above-mentioned statement and my essay will discuss both viewpoints in a pragmatic approach.

It is undeniable that the crime based books and drama series are becoming increasingly popular in the majority of communities across the globe. These types of programmes are popular mainly due to the demands of the local viewers as well as the role of the media that is established in a particular society.
