IELTS Opinion Writing Samples Band 8.5
In the past thirty years, there has been an exponential growth in the number of car possessions. With the convenience offered by driving your own vehicle, this also poses the society into ‘one big traffic jam’ and in my opinion, the statement becomes truer in this modern era. This problem becomes more apparent to the countries that have a large sum of population and government interventions are needed to solve it. This problem and solutions will be elaborated in the following paragraphs.
New era construction prefers casual workspaces rather than private ones in regards to corporate and educational institutions. One of the main reason is, it creates a conducive environment to do the job efficiently. Others being, it improves inter-personal relations with their peers. I definitely support such advancement in infrastructures and will substantiate the same idea in my following essay with relevant examples.
The atmosphere is depleting rapidly than ever before. To preserve it, critics argue that legislations should look after the environment, while others agree that humans are responsible to sustain and shrink environmental damages. This essay will explore both aforementioned sides of the world and will present my opinion accordingly.
It is undeniable that educational institutes play a vital role to educate the children. However, some people contend that there are myriad instructions which are quite useless for the learners, while others believe that whatever a child learn at a school could be fruitful even later on. I will highlight the important aspects of both the statements, including my own personal preference.
I believe that demarcating time between education and skill-based activities can be highly beneficial for a student's holistic growth. It is believed by some individuals that this should be provided by universities, while others are of opinion that the major objective of an educational institution is simply to educate without a particular vocation in mind. In my opinion, universities should fulfil both purposes.

It is often argued that women should also be given equal rights in corporations when placements are done. I strongly believe that international cooperation is required for solving important problems prevailing in the globe and shall discuss the importance of it with an apt example.
Experts throughout both the developing and developed world have debated whether the advent of sophisticated modern types of machinery such as mobile phones, laptops and iPad have helped to enhance and improve people’s social lives or whether the opposite has become the case. Personally, I strongly advocate the former view. This essay will discuss both sides using examples from the UK government and Oxford University to demonstrate points and prove arguments.
Entertainers have a great role in our society as they usually help to enrich the cultural heritage of it. Some would say that they are getting paid more than they deserve, which according to me, is not a correct statement at all. I would believe that they should be highly paid along with the teachers and social workers .
Corporate companies are employing the candidates who give their entire career for the company. I personally disagree with this procedure, holding to one group for lifetime could lead them to miss great opportunities which are waiting for them outside. This essay will explain the reasons to support my statement by taking examples from newspapers and journals.
