Certain citizens believe that endangered species are a pressing issue nowadays, while others would argue that there are more critical environmental matters to address. In my opinion, although maintaining the balance of the biosphere is crucial, reducing waste should be the first urgent priority to work on.

In recent years, a debate regarding traffic and air pollution emerged. In particular, some people argue that increasing taxes on oil could tackle these issues. I partially agree with this view, because it is surely true that increasing the petrol price could help solve these problems, but only if other measures are applied at the same time.
