It is often suggested that government should increase investment in rails rather than in building road infrastructure. From my personal perspective, I agree with this argument that the development of trains may have more positive consequences in solving the transport problems and developing the economy.

The topic of punishment has been controversial. Some individuals believe that each sort of crime should have a specific penalty, whereas I agree with those who feel that the circumstances of a particular crime, as well as the reason for doing it, should always be considered when determining punishment.

Many manufactured food and drink products contain high levels of sugar, which causes many health problem. Sugary products should be made more expensive to encourage people to consume less sugar. Do you agree or disagree?

Nowadays, people are addicted to sweets which can lead to many health complications in long term, including, obesity, diabetes, heart disease and et cetera. In my opinion, I do not agree that the products which relate to sugar should be more overpriced to reduced sweetener consumption. the reasons why I disagree with this issue will be examined in the following paragraphs.

In the current era, one of the biggest threats to the environment is changing climate. Opinions are divided on whether humans use fossil fuels or alternative energy resources. In my opinion, although non-renewable energy resources are significant to run some industries, switching to renewable energy resources completely is definitely the best option to save the environment.

We are aware of all people have their personal electronic devices in every family. Some parts of the community feel that this will change the family atmosphere and affect the relationship between family members. In my mind, this is a true idea about contemporary tools. But,it has also both positive and negative impacts on people's relationships.

The old historic building is evidence of the place’s heritage and cultural legacy. But it’s it could turn into a major headache for city restoration or damaging living quality. Nowadays it's believed that giving presents to our nearest and dearest is the best way to show our love and care. However, other people prefer other ways of demonstrating their sympathy. In my opinion material side is less essential to provide a good relationship than expressing that you really care. It is argued by many people that punishment should be constant for every type of criminal activity, while others say that situation and motive of the person who commits a crime should be considered before giving the final verdict. While rigid sentences for each category of crime can save time for governments, I believe that the motive of the criminals should be considered before giving punishment.

It is often said that human beings should find a way to cope with climate change rather than prevent it. From my point of view, I strongly disagree with this idea. There is no need to publish news in the regular way which is newspapers since people can access the news online for free, therefore, nobody will waste money on newspapers. I totally agree with the previous statement due to the huge range of up-to-date information that can be found online besides, the cost and weight of printed books.

There are two controversial perspectives heating up a debate over whether it is necessary for the government to invest national funds in the healthcare system for old people. While some claim that the government should do so, the opposite makes a statement that money should be spent more on educational institutions for youngsters. While the former is valid to some extent, I think it is best to combine both mentioned opinions.

Technological advances, provide people with cutting edge cellphones and laptops in order to watch movies wherever they are, whereas, another group of people would like to see their favourite films in the cinema. I go along with the former group and both ideas will be discussed in this essay.

There is a controversial statement heating a debate over the fact that back in the old days, there was a wide range of disastrous wars and conflicts stemming from male leaders’ decisions, the world hence might be a better place if it were run by females.
