Some people think that all university students should study whatever they like. Others believe that they should only be allowed to study subjects that will be useful in the future, such as those related to science and technology. Discuss both these views and give your opinion.

University study is nowadays considered one of the most important elements to determine the future of a student. Since based on this the career will be chosen, there is no way to ignore that fact. Many trusts that they should learn whatever they feel convenient to study. Some others, however; think that they should learn the subject suitable for the future, such as science and technology. In this essay, I am going to discuss both points of view, and I will provide my opinion at the end of it.

It had been a controversial issue, for a long time, whether punishment for crimes should be fixed or the incentive is an influential factor that is crucial to be considered. In this essay, I will discuss both points of view and extend my support for the latter opinion.

Technology is flourishing with leaps and bounds and is ubiquitous in all walks of life. Therefore, many people tend to believe that today, we have a plethora of options to choose from in every aspect of life than people do have in past. In this modern era of science and technology, school curriculums are often revised to match the latest standards. For this reason, some argue that physical education based subjects are unnecessary and should be replaced with other beneficial ones, while others disagree. I personally believe that, even though the science subjects are more important, yet the sports-based courses are also needed to be learnt.

When checking the happiness index, rarely developed countries secure a good position. There are many people who think that country which have an advanced level of financial status, no longer able to make its citizen feel much content by introducing more developments. I strongly agree with this standpoint.

Each profession is associated with different types of clothes. Some companies put a great emphasis on how their employees should dress why others think that how well the employees work should be the first priority. In this essay, both opinions will be discussed and I will explain why I feel that whether or not to take clothing into serious consideration depends on the types of jobs.

The world population has topped 7 billion people and is predicted to double in the next 50 years. Ensuring an adequate food supply for this booming population is going to be a major challenge in the years to come, which is being promised to be solved by the latest advancements in genetic engineering. In my opinion, with many desirable traits having been bred into the genetic structure, genetically modified crops can potentially address today's ever-growing demand for food. However, on no account should the potential risks to human health posed by using genetically modified food be ignored.

However , I am of the opinion that this is a matter to be debated in light of several factors before a reasonable conclusion can be drawn.
