Write an essay of about 250 words to answer the following questions. Give reasons and include any relevant examples to support your answer. Too much emphasis is placed on testing these days. The need to prepare for tests and examinations is a restriction on teachers and also exerts unnecessary pressure on young learners. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

The educational system has accentuated the purposes of examination in the globalization era. However, some disregard the modern role of testing and believe it is being overemphasized, thereby constraining educators’ abilities and mentally affecting students. From my perspective, tests represent a significant function in education and its repercussions are exploitable.

Whether it is in regards to spending funds on building new railway lines for superfast trains or upgrading the prevailing public transportation, people have opposing views. However, I support the latter view as it may benefit the environment in the long run.

These days, choosing the best subjects to study is the significant criteria, in order to get a job and for the better life. The usage of Internet in personal and professional fields has risen tremendously over the past few decades. An extremely harsh problem nowadays many countries are facing is to deal with the criminal rate increasing astonishingly and becoming more severe. From my view, there are several probable reasons for this issue such as the population booming and the lack of education. It is a fact that many of the enterprises are operated and promoted in metropolitan areas only. This has caused people to think that whether the authorities should provide incentives for factories and other companies to relocate from urban areas to rural sites. This development would introduce both pros and cons, but I believe that the benefits do outweigh the drawbacks.

It is believed by some people that the funding for extraterrestrial researched should be cut down and invested in other issues instead. I absolutely disagree with this opinion since I believe the existing problems have already received an adequate amount of resources, furthermore, outer-space studies are beneficial for the humankind in various aspects.

Fast foods, and restaurants that serve fast foods have seen a massive rise in popularity in the past few decades. As a result of which, eating habits of individuals have shifted, and caused health problems such as obesity. It has been observed, that governments impose a higher tax on these eateries to try and curb the problem. These measures have had both an adverse and positive effect on solving the issue. On one hand it has hiked up government revenues and encouraged young people to go for healthier alternatives when dining, but on the other hand, has also caused problems for a plethora of people who depend on these cuisines.

Globalization has been taking place so fast that some languages such as English, Spanish or Chinese have become virtually universal languages, which effectively helps to foster communications among various nations while unpopular languages spoken by ethnic minorities are more likely to go extinct. Mother earth has been burdened with so many unwanted trash that has been produced by none other than her own children. Along with the evolution and invention, there comes the by-product which is, harmful litter that is blemishing the eco-system. Some people believe out of many sources of scrap, one of the contributing factors is waste from our homes that has been dumped instead of reused.
