In many nations around the globe, the wealth gap between the rich and the poor is rapidly increasing. Certainly, this is a phenomenon that can lead to disastrous consequences for any nation. In this essay, I will illustrate and elucidate the topic and will state why this is a problem before suggesting a few solutions, which may help to address this issue.

Nowadays, with more than half the world’s population living in the cities, the problem of housing development in urban areas has become more urgent than ever. There are two main options to tackle the issue: either by building more skyscrapers, or by expanding the land size of urban areas then build more houses in the new area. In this essay, I will compare the merits of both solutions and state my own opinion.
