Academic stress is a significant concern for university students, affecting their mental and physical health. This report investigates the perceptions of students enrolled in the International Foundation Programme (IFP) at Reading University regarding the impact of academic stress on their health. The aim is to identify the primary causes of academic stress, the associated physical and psychological symptoms, and the extent to which stress affects academic performance. This research is grounded in the existing literature on academic stress, including studies by Saleh et al. (2017), Frey et al. (2013), and Bedewy & Gabriel (2015).
