Whether condemning longer in prison is the only best way to decrease crime rate has been a popular topic recently. In this essay, the opinions on both sides will be discussed followed by my own take.

Computers are one of the most convenient ways of accessing information. Some people say the positive outcomes outweigh the negative ones in replacement of comfort and convenience for students who are learning. Therefore, it has been a boon for individuals to get instant access to information or materials that may aid them in their studies or research. However, the latter argues that constant use of computers in education is a negative outcome. Some individuals say that computers may even hinder ones pursuance in education. However, I disagree. This essay will detail why an increase in technology in education is beneficial to students and teachers.

As the modernisation takes place in almost every aspect of our lives, technological development also spikes. One of the major advancements achieved by humans is internet. Information about almost everything and anything can be received on different websites. With the availability of data regarding lives and cultures from various parts of globe, some people think that travelling is not necessary anymore. I personally disagree with this statement and reasons are stated in forthcoming paragraphs.

This is currently a contentious argument over whether to plant trees in rural areas or construct new houses and apartments. I totally agree with this opinion due to a vast range of reasons and some of them will be addressed in this essay.

There is no doubt that pictures attract the attention of the audience. They also give a basic understanding of the news story and thus make it easy for the reader to figure out which stories are worth their attention. In this age of information explosion, we are bombarded with news stories. We receive updates every second and it is impossible to read or watch all of the stories that we come across. Pictures make it easy to filter out stories we are not interested in.

Our personalities are predetermined as a result of our genes before we are born and there is nothing that can be done to change our character traits. To what extent do you agree?

Some individuals believe, that the genetic structure at the time of birth is the only factor that determines our physical traits and the external environment does not have any impact on the character development. I believe that it is both nature and nurture which determines the constitution rather than the genome alone.

Having online friendships and relationships is nowadays a common trend considering the fact that the world is slowly becoming a global village. Others see this as a great advantage since the internet produces successful marriages and compresses space and time while others disapprove the goodness of technology noting its harms such as cyber bulling. This essay however is of the opinion that making friendships on the internet is ideal.

Actually, over the past 20 years the usage of polyethylene bags, plastic bottles is increased noticeably. Since the plastic materials are not decomposed in a short period severe negative impacts are caused to flora and fauna. This essay will explore the problem caused and propose some solutions.

It is argued that stores have to allow consumer the choice to purchase national products rather than forgine product. This essay agrees that stores must give amatrue chefs, small businesses, and restaurants to sell their product in their shelf because this would strengthen the economy and relationships between the social fabric.

Some people feel that certain workers like nurses, doctors and teachers are undervalued and should be paid more, especially when other people like film actors or company bosses are paid huge sums of money that are out of proportion to the importance of the work that they do. -How far do you agree? -What criteria should be used to decide how much people are paid?

There is great deal of controversy whether those jobs requiring academic knowledge as being a doctor, nurses and teachers should be of the high price of value in community and being well paid or this is mostly rights of celebrities like star athletes and film actors. Nonetheless, some group of people believe that there has been great compensation paid to film actors and company’s managers without considering the sake of the real type of work they do. Nonetheless, I partially agree with this question that public sectors doctors and teachers provide indispensable services.

In the contemporary perspective, criteria’s which assess people level have a scheme of materialistic approach and is based on social power as well as multiple kind of possessions. Social ethics that can emerge as loyalty, trustworthy and being generous had lost its importance among community. I’m of the opinion that being committed to moral behavior should be more of a important.

While it is true that watching TV affects children, it is difficult to determine whether it is the content of the programs or the length of time spent watching them that has a more significant impact on children. It seems to me that although the amount of time does affect youngsters, it is the content of the programs that has a more marked influence on them. On the one hand, the consequences of watching TV for long periods of time can be deleterious. Firstly, the longer children are exposed to TV programs, the more likely it is for them to become addicted to watching television. When children become over-reliant on television for entertainment, they might neglect engagement in outdoor activities. This may result in a sedentary lifestyle that is highly detrimental to their physical health.
