Advertisements is becoming more and more common in our everyday lives. Is it a positive or negative development?

Advertisements are growing increasingly popular in recent years, and whilst some people are of the opinion that advertising greatly assists us in making purchase decisions, we can also hear some others decrying ads for being annoying and misleading. In my opinion, it has both positive and negative sides in equal measure.

Recently there has been much interest in gaining a better understanding of the effective approach to utilize public money. Some feel that investment should be given the highest priority among other considerations. Many office authorities impose restriction on smoking within the offices premises. Some governments have even banned smoking in all public places. This is a good idea but it takes away some of our freedom. What are your opinions on this?

There is no denial that cigarette smoking is harmful and smoking as a habit has been on a decline all over the world, particularly among the aware and health conscious populace. Cigarette smoking has two major effects on non-smokers-injurious passive smoking and smoking, display that has an invitational or persuasive effect on non-smokers. I believe banning smoking in public places and offices not only will discourage smoking, but will also keep the smoking practice out of site, though it might apparently look like transgress into smoker’s freedom.

Contrary to common beliefs, the body which is carrying out, as well as financially responsible for, experiments is the private companies and not the governmental ones. On one hand, industry-supported probe receives substantial subsidies and drives the evolution of entire economic sectors. On the other hand, it begs the question whether companies are willing to pay for the discoveries that can potentially hurt their profits and should the public trust those results.

It's true that there are great amount of movies and TV dramas contain more and more violence scenes today. While some may believes that by controlling this kind of visual works can help reduce violent crimes in the real world, I can hardly agree with this idea.

It is argue some people that some people have their own talents in aesthetic and playing games, and other side is not. Although they can gain their success from their own dedication, so this essay discusses both sides and my own opinion.

Many major cities are facing a housing crisis as they cannot provide enough land for new buildings. Some local governments believe the problem could be solved by reassigning park land for residential development, because this land would be better used for housing.

These days, it is true that more and more large cities are facing serious lack of accommodation because their current land bank is not enough to meet the housing demand. To deal with the problem, the solution provided by local governments is to replace park areas with new buildings. Personally, I completely disagree with the idea.

Increasing number of populations strongly believe that the universal popular of online communication will let loneliness disappear in their lives as well as forms a new friendship easily.
