One of the responsibilities of a manager is to motivate their employees to increase their performance. However, I strongly disagree that basing their salaries on their rates of manufacture and sales would be the most effective method. The performance in many cases cannot simply be quantified in terms of sales or production. A teacher’s job, for example, is to teach classes, assess homework, and provide students with feedback, none of which involves producing or selling any goods. In this case, it is the performance of her students and their levels of satisfaction with aspects of her performance such as rapport or punctuality that decide how successful he has been. Experts have been debating whether technology has made us more social, with many arguing that it has led to less interactions happening in real life. My opinion is that with today’s technology, one’s social life is not limited by physical boundaries anymore. With laptops, mobiles and social media networking, the boundary between the real and virtual world is collapsing. However, I would agree it has some negative impact on well-being, as one does not need to leave the comfort of their chair anymore.

According to the statistics of the International Travel Society, the travelers all over the world opt for the trips off the beaten track more and more often nowadays then it used to be handful of years ago. Such kind of journey obviously has its drawbacks. However, did not it have any benefits, it would not have its popularity among the tourists. In this essay, I intend to analyze both pluses and minuses of this choice for a vacation.
