Task 2: Some people believe that the best way to encourage children that have a healthy diet at school and some people believe that parents should teach them to have a healthy diet. Discuss both views and give your opinion?

For the time being, leading a healthy lifestyle in youngsters has never failed to provoke debates among people. While some claim that it is a far-reaching tactic for children when they are fully educated in the educational environment, their counterparts make a statement that parents should teach their offspring to gain a healthy lifestyle. For my viewpoint, I consider myself a proponent of the latter, followed by some parallel justifications.

The latest development in technology introduces a variety of fashion trends over the years.Many people respond in a positive manner towards this tendency.The reasons for the shift and its impacts on society are discussed in the forthcoming paragraphs.

News editors decide what to broadcast on television and what to print in newspapers. What factors do you think influence these decisions? Do we become used to bad news? Would it be better if more good news was reported? Discuss. (Cambridge IELTS 1).

Certain types of information are separated in different platforms, television and newspapers, by news copyreaders. Personally, I believe the news agencies select data according to the target groups in each platform. It seems like we see tremendous terrible news regularly in everyday life on these platforms and become used to it. However, this essay strongly thinks that bad news would affect and influence society better than good news because it could help people have more awareness in their lives.

Nowadays technology is increasing being used to monitor what people are saying and doing (for example, through cellphone tracking and security cameras). In many cases, the people being monitored are unaware that this is happening.

In modern days, even though, the government always tracks as many people as possible, using our smartphones, tracking devices, or CCTV cameras, many residents never realize it. Despite the fact that it’s against our personal privacy, I believe that it’s the best solution for everyone’s safety.

Nowadays people tend to work more hours than usual. This essay will demonstrate the reason behind working for long hours and the problem faced by the individuals.

Visiting different places is a part of tourism which is growing significantly all over the world. Hence , it brings a lot of benefits not only for human beings but also for society. I will explain some profitable points in further paragraphs.

Smoking not only harms the smoker, but also those who are nearby. Therefore, smoking should be banned in public places

The addictive nature of smoking surges nowadays.Smoking is considered to be a vital cause of many fatal diseases.Undoubtedly,passive smokers are also badly affected by the side effects of this deadly headly habit.Considering this factor many people insist on the ban of cigarettes and other tobacco products whereas their counterparts disagree with the idea.Both sides of the argument are discussed in the forthcoming paragraphs.

Traffic and housing problems could be solved by moving large companies, factories and their employees to the countryside. Do you agree or disagree ?

It is acknowledged that businesses and their facilities should be relocated to the countryside so that traffic congestion and housing shortages are solved immediately. From my perspective, I agree with this notion, however I believe that there are other several effective measures to overcome this problem of traffic and house for residents.

Many doctors recommend that older people exercise regularly, but most patients do not follow an exercise routine. Why do you think this happens? How can people be encouraged to exercise regularly?

In hospitals, moderate physical exercise is suggested to elderly people now, while most patients do not adopt the advice from doctors. In this essay, I will elaborate on the reasons behind such a phenomenon and suggest some possible solutions for the encouragement of regular exercise.

Buying things on the internet, such as books , air tickets and groceries, is becoming more and more popular. Do the advantages of shopping in this way outweigh disadvantages?

In our modern era,purchasing items online has increased and become a popular way of shopping.In my perspective of view,the benefit of shopping online outweighs the drawbacks.This essay will mention both the advantage and disadvantages of buying items on the internet.

Some people believe that it is good to share as much information as possible in scientific research, business and the academic world. others believe that some information is too important or too valuable to be shared freely. discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

Nowadays, there is competition between high laboratories of research to find more discoveries and devise new theories. Some educated people believe that important information should be not available for everyone, however, another group thinks that science is free for everybody. It seems to me that they both have a right in their opinion but with some conditions.

There is an immensely controversial perspective heating up a debate over environmental issues. This essay is devoted to analyzing the tactics that the environment quality is being jeopardized by people and effective solutions given by authorities and residents.

Technology plays a vital role in the modern world.Undoubtedly the time spent by juveniles watching television increases significantly over the years.Many people argue that the advantages of the watching stations are far superior and on the other hand the counterparts refuse to accept the idea.The pros and cons of watching TV sets in children's life are discussed in the forthcoming paragraphs.

Some people believe that allowing children to make their own choices on everyday matters (food, clothes and entertainment) is likely to result in a society of individuals who only think about their own wishes. Other believe that it is important for children to make decisions about matters that affect them. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

It is true that early life education contributes greatly to a child personality, including the practices of making decisions on their own. While I believe being independent of making decisions may induce some traits of narcissism, I believe the benefits of early cognition of personal judgements outweigh the drawbacks.

Some people think it is one of the best ways to solve environmental problems by increasing the cost of fuel for cars and other vehicles. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

In the concurrent world, air pollution is a really huge problem on our planet. Some people say that it can be attributed to the utilization of fossil fuels. When you burn it, it can create carbon dioxide, and this is the main reason that leads to global warming. While they also claim that as long as we have increased the price of conventional ones, we can obviously solve these issues. To me, I totally agree with this. This essay is going to discuss why it is and my own opinions.

Some people argue that unpaid community service should be made mandatory in high schools. I completely agree with this point of view because doing this service helps children become more confident and also creates opportunities for them to discover goals in life.

This essay will discuss the reason why does it happen, the consequences, and give the best solution for them.

These days people in some countries are living in a “throw-away” society which means people use things in a short time then throw them away. What are the causes and what effects this can have.

People today tend to throw away/ dispose of/ discard/ dump items before they wear out// become unusable. This is mainly attributed to the fact that they do not treasure/ cherish/ value/ appreciate possessions and can inflict severe damage on the environment// wreak devastation on the environment and undermine people’s psychological wellbeing.

Information technology is changing many aspects of our lives and now dominates our home, leisure and work activities. To what extent do the benefits of information technology outweigh the disadvantages?

We live in a modern era. In this century we have availability of modern technologies. Which makes our life simple. Information technology, not only make our life easy but also contributes to our home leisure and work activities. There are many advantages and drawbacks of information technology. In my point of view, usefulness outweighs the disadvantages.
