For example, during my school years, the month-long break gave me the opportunity to attend swimming, piano, art, and dance lessons. These experiences enriched my growth beyond academic learning. Furthermore, research shows that extended holidays enable children to recover fully from the stress of schoolwork. It often took me almost a week to regain my full energy after the school term ended, which suggests that short breaks may not offer enough time for proper rest. Moreover, longer breaks give families the chance to travel and spend quality time together, which strengthens relationships and broadens children’s horizons.
