The proposition that everyone should adopt a vegetarian lifestyle, claiming that the exclusion of meat is essential for a healthy diet, has provoked widespread debate worldwide. While it is undeniable that plant-based diets provide significant nutritional advantages, one must also acknowledge the role of cultural traditions and personal autonomy in shaping dietary choices.
In recent years, people, especially the younger generation, have been consuming more fast food than in the past. This essay will explore the reason behind this trend and explain why it is largely a negative development.
