Is it responsibility of individuals to change their lifestyle to prevent climate change?

Nowadays, climate change becomes an earth-shaking issue among people around the world. Especially, experts are worried about the consequences of global warming such as the rise of sea levels and deforestation. American environmentalist Bill McKibben said: “We’ve been given a warning by science and a wake-up call by nature; it is up to us now to heed them.” So is it our responsibility to preserve our nature?

It is true that the consumption of fossil fuels has led to a range of environmental problems and measures should be taken to address this global issue. It is argued that our reliance on fossil fuels should be immediately cut down to tackle this problem, in my opinion, I completely agree with this idea and efforts should be made in order to shift to other energy options.

It is widely accepted that driverless vehicles are one of the most promising trends, being expected to facilitate people’s lives in the near future; however, there is controversy about the pros and cons of this advanced technology. While it can be both positive and negative, I firmly believe that its benefits outweigh its drawbacks, and the reasons will be elaborated on in this essay.

It is true that both of us always confront choices and we sometimes take risks. While taking risks gives the opportunity of gaining extreme rewards, I consider that underlying disadvantages always outweigh the advantages because we tend to capture something uncertain which easily leads to failure and corresponding dangers.

Indeed, most people use vehicles that require fuel to work. Currently,there is a mode that news concentrate on challenges as well as urgent situations more than good achievements. In my opinion, I completely disagree this view because it creates consciousness in the general public and also facilitates more development.

Scholarly findings show that features and attributes which human beings possess at the time of birth are more influential to our personality and growth as compared to life experiences. According to my thoughts, individuals with God-gifted qualities have more charisma and a positive aura around them, therefore they have greater positive effects on the people surrounding them.
