Exploring exotic lands has been a much-favoured activity across the world, evident in the journals of re-known travellers such as Marco Polo and Christopher Columbus. Nowadays, thanks to advancements in transportation, previously inaccessible regions such as the North pole are within the grasp of enthusiastic tourists and scientists. In my opinion, regardless of the advantages of this development, its disadvantages prevail.
