Whether video games are detrimental for a player or not is debatable.A few people ponder that these games are harmless as they act as an educational tool while others claim that they are unfavourable for the players.This essay will discuss both the merits and demerits of playing video games and provide evidence as to why I personally believe that the former notion has more advantages than the latter standpoint.

Although there is a widespread belief that digital learning supplies ought to be used by schools instead of printed ones, there are people opposed to this idea. Personally, I support the former view as electronic textbooks provide access to a wider range of study materials, which can considerably improve children’s motivation in self-studying, even though printed books promote a deeper understanding of the material.

In today's world, people try to appreciate or show their feeling to one another by giving gifts. Although, there are arguments that those gifts often are wasted if the people do not want that present or they already have it. For instance, If I already have an iPhone and if anyone gives me another iPhone it would just be useless because I won't be able to use two phones at the same time.

Some might say that there are so many ways to invest money such as help poor people, construct infrastructure or develop computers or so on. On the contrary, others insist on the opinion that in the development of technology, people should open their knowledge by exploring the earth to promote human life. Viewing from a general perspective, I personally agree with the former opinion for the following reasons.

It is considered by some that the best way to measure someone’s intelligence is to see whether they are successful in society, while there are others who believe that other methods are more accurate. In my opinion, I think that success cannot be the best measurement as it involves extrinsic factors regardless of the type of intelligence measured.

Nowadays, traffic congestion is being increased rampantly worldwide. It is difficult to maintain the road security program during this condition. A few people assert that the supreme way to increase road safety is to raise the minimum legal age for drivers. I completely agree with the same and the impending essay will elaborate my opinion.

Plastic shopping bags are used widely and cause many environmental problems. Some people say they should be banned. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

We can talk about a lot of severe environmental problems and one of them is unnecessary plastic usage. People are used to packing the products into plastic bags during their shopping which is considered by many to should be banned. I cannot but totally agree with this statement for such reasons as environmental protection and climate changes.

It is argued that in the coming years, the population would use the Internet to read newspapers and books rather than buying the printed materials. This essay completely agrees with the statement because soft copies of newspapers and magazines are convenient to use and prevent deforestation to some extent.

In the globalization era, it can be seen that people from all over the world follow similar fashion, television programs, music bands or even have the same food to eat. It is often argued that it is better to own a house than rent one for living in some nations. The primary reason for this is, in many developing nations, the family would not be able to pay monthly rent on time due to lack of employment. I think it is a negative development as most of the society who work in a different place could not afford to buy a house, and live in poor conditions.

It is believed by some people that it is better to watch movies on their portable electronic devices rather than go to the movie theatre. However, other people say that in order to be more satisfied films ought to be seen on a big screen. In my opinion, movies should be watched in a cinema due to experience stronger emotions.

It is sometimes argued the increasing number of tourists from overseas might adversely affect the host country. Although I think there might be some negative points, I believe the positive aspect of tourism outweighs the negative part. Both sides will be explored in this essay.
