Today more and more tourists are visiting places where conditions are difficult, such as the Sahara desert or the Antarctic. What are the benefits and disadvantages for tourists who visit such places?

In recent years,there has been a significant increase in people travelling to the most inhabitable and hostile places.A chunk of individuals opines that people visit these places in search of unique experience whilst others are sceptical about it.There are both advantages and disadvantages to this trend and I will discuss both in this essay.

Many countries are experiencing population growth and need more homes. Should these new homes be constructed in existing cities, or should new towns be built in the countryside?

The human population is rapidly increasing these days in many countries such as China and India etc. The overpopulated countries face a problem “spaces to build apartments and houses for their new citizens”, and new buildings’ location is becoming a discussable question. Now I will discuss the situation of increment in population and explain why I prefer the houses should be built in the suburban area than in the cities.

In the past, when students did a university degree, they tended to study in their own country. Nowadays, they have more opportunity to study aboard. What are the advantages and disadvantages of this development?

One of the conspicuous trends of today’s modern world is a colossal upsurge of learning in universities abroad thanks to the ubiquity state-of-art of technology ,globalisation and modernisation.Though, it offers numerous advantages on the contrary disadvantages of this can’t be ignored.

Nowadays a majority of students prefer to go abroad for education. It might have numerous reasons for choosing overseas instead of staying in their motherland. Deciding whether it is beneficial for them or not is not an easy call. I personally believe it depends on many criteria and might have its own pros and cons.

Issues related to online education are frequently discussed these days. It is true that study online has hugely grown over the recent years. The causes of education, as well as both sides of view, will be discussed in the following paragraphs.

The consistent change in the world with respect to technology and human behaviour leads to several differences in the way people live, mainly the way we are using gadgets. The usage and dependency on mobiles in our life are drastically increasing which has several merits and demerits.

In various countries around the world, more individuals prefer to become parents at elder age periods. While this can certainly offer an advantage, I believe that the drawbacks are of greater significance.

Although it has been pointed out by some that living in the countryside tends to get a healthy lifestyle easily, other people believe that living in urban areas brings a huge number of advantages in terms of health to individuals. Personally, I agree with the latter opinion as cities have more healthcare resources.

Many elderly people are no longer looked after by their families but are put in care homes or nursing homes. What are the advantages and disadvantages of this trend

It is true that more and more old people have been subjected to third-party services for them to be cared for. This essay will suggest that providing new market opportunities and educated person's help are the biggest advantages of this, but harming family relations and creating gaps between generations are the primary disadvantages of this.

In the present day, the power of nations has been conducted by different governments and authorities which leads to an immense variety of types of leadership. Although some governments give more voice to the population, others are completely different and both there are positive and negative sides. This essay will discuss both sides and explain which of them outweigh.

Whether we like it or not the world we live in has changed a great deal; which affects our lives in many aspects. In this regard, these days the major of people prefer working for themselves rather than to have a corporate job. In this essay, I discuss both reasons and demerits of self-employment before concluding.

It is true that retaking the driving test once in a while would have many demerits. Although there are some merits by far outweigh them.

In the passage, I will illustrate the pros and cons of parents sharing the “no pain, no gain” philosophy with their kids.

Nowadays, people seem to prefer reading e-books to reading paper books. This may give some benefits and cause some drawbacks, which will be discussed in the essay.

Social networks have become a part of our life and fewer people meet on the street, or in public places now than in the past, and more often, they do it by using the Internet. There are both advantages and disadvantages of this phenomenon, but I, in turn, would not recommend such sites to someone I know.

While in the past people were willing to work for others, these days individuals tend to work for their own business. In this way, they would not only have more freedom but also earn more money, although, self-employment may have some negative points.
