In some cultures, children are often told that they can achieve anything if they try hard enough. What are the advantages and disadvantages of giving children this message?

In several cultures, kids are usually encouraged to try hard that they can succeed if they had enough effort. In this situation, there are some advantages and drawbacks which I will explain both points of view.

At the present time, the population of some countries includes a relatively large number of young adults, compared with the number of older people. Do the advantages of this situation outweigh the disadvantages?

Today, the number of young population who live in certain countries is comparatively higher than that of the elderly. I reckon that the positive aspects of this case surpassed the negative points.

In recent times , an increasing number of people argue that students should have a gap year in working or travelling before university . Although I think that this tendency may have some harmful consequences , I believe that the advantages of a gap year for scholars between high school and university can outweigh its disadvantages .

Although there are some positive benefits ,the disadvantages are more than the advantages.
