International tourism has brought enormous benefits to many places. At the same time, there is concern about its impact on local inhabitants and the environment. Do the disadvantages of international tourism outweigh the advantages? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Nowadays, there is a controversy going on between some groups of people. Some believe that due to the rise in foreign tours and exchange, there have been humongous merits observed in some places. Whilst some people believe that due to the rise in global tourism there have been a great impact on their local businesses and their economy is highly affected. However, I strongly consider that the merits definitely outweigh its demerits and will be justifying from my own experience.

It is argued by some that asking personal information about hobbies or marital status from job seekers at an employment by employers is useful, while there are others who disagree. In my opinion, I firmly believe that although there are some merits, acquiring personal details of an applicant not only could have harmful consequences for him but it also is not required for employers.

Obesity has become a common problem in western societies and this is partly due to the availability of fast food at low prices. To tackle this problem, it has been suggested that governments should increase the tax on fast foods in order to reduce the amount of fast foodstuff consumed. I personally believe that this is a sound idea, because especially young people, who have less money, will be discouraged from buying fast food.
