IELTS Opinion Writing Samples Band 6.5
As the population grows, getting a decent job has become more and more competitive. There are several personal characteristics that are valued by employers. Some people argue that one should have a high level of creativity and be able to work independently, while others value candidates who obey their superiors and are able to work in a team. This, essay will discuss both sides, and also, I will present my personal views on this matter.
In today's society, communication plays a vital role in our daily life. Some people think that the communication bond between the manager and workers is key to the success of a company. while others say that there are various other factors that are required. I will discuss both views of this statement.
Modern gadgets like smartphones and tablets are widely used by young people. Could these devices boost creativity among youngsters potentially? This is a controversial question for scientists. I, personally, believe that if these devices are used properly, they have the ability to bring creativity to the youth.
With recent advances social media has become a crucial part of our lives. Therefore,providing new job opportunities such as blogger or influencer. A lot say that these changes have a beneficial impact on the field of advertising in terms of variety. I totally agree with the statement above and believe that social networking has broaden marketing campaigns.
Students who study at school in a traditional classroom setting have more advantages compared to those studying from home. While I accept that studying at school is by far the most effective way to help students understand much more effectively, I also believe that kids learning from home can also benefit significantly.
While it may be right to say that having personal information of the candidate while applying for jobs is mandatory it helps the employer or the management to know about the individual’s background. No doubt, work experience background is the essential key to understanding the role and position of an employee but what if a person's behaviour is normally not friendly and is not happy to serve the other teammate. Others believe that discussing personal details is intruding into their personal life which is not beneficial for the company. I am going to discuss both points in brief in the upcoming paragraphs.
Nowadays, it is becoming easy for people to get free access to healthcare. However, some people believe that healthcare should be free for everyone, while others argue that citizens should pay for their medical costs. In fact, I side with those who believe that people need to pay for healthcare.
It is widely believed that plastic shopping bag are the main source of rubbish. Personally, i completely agree with this view for a variety of reasons.
It is true that some feel the youngsters can enjoy the happiest time in their lives, while others believe that adults’ lives are more enjoyable despite bigger responsibilities. In this essay, I will explain why I tend to agree with the latter.
These days, people are being judged on the basis of their materialistic things and financial status in society. Also, moral values and respect are considered as an unimportant part of life. In my opinion, people determine each other through valuable possessions, but some of the population still values honour and ethnicity.
In recent years, the fast food industry has developed significantly and become common for residents, junk food being well-known for its convenience and cheap cost. While a number of notions believe that policymakers should increase taxes on these foods to prevent residents from suffering from unhealthy lifestyles and diseases, other views suggest that it is not necessary. In my point of view, i prefer the latter rather than the former.
Nowadays, the majority of individuals do not prefer to allocate their time to cooking and like to spend more money to buy ready-made meals. The major two reasons behind this trend are hectic lifestyles and cheaper options of produced food available in the market these days. However, I believe that this preference shift from homemade food to market food comes with many disadvantages.
The Internet has been one of the most important technological developments in the history of humanity. Over the years, the internet has had the particularity to connect people across the world and create new environments to connect machines, processes, and humans. As a result, researchers and scientists have created hundreds of innovations in order to simplify human life. The internet has involved all related to publicity which means, the creation of a new era of propaganda and the approach of social media.
In today's modern world, everyone wants to get to know about the different places of this globe and all this can be possible by learning numerous different languages.so, I am in the same mind that one has to face myriad obstacles while living in a different country.
Nowadays, it can be seen that there are more people transferring from the countryside to the urban cities in most locations around the world which shows a declining number of residents in rural areas. In my opinion, I think there is a negative development, and I will discuss my point of view through my essay.
There is the belief that the first thoughts you have about someone, when meeting them, are always right. I completely disagree with this idea.
The maintenance of ancient sites require huge investment. There is an opinion that expenditure on new architectural structures should be more compared to the old ones. I strongly disagree with this and believe that the old buildings are of historical significance and aid in attracting tourism.
It has been stated that it is beneficial for kids to be around pets however, the opposite opinion believes that animals can be unsafe for children. I personally agree with the second argument and in the following, I will delineate both views.
The employers drag their employees to stay work in the office, despite the fact that there are already many employers that implement working from home for their workers. In my opinion, although , work from home has more benefit for employee prosperity and contribute to company wellness in the long run.
It is commonly believed that the best way to succeed in education is by memorizing a variety of subjects. In my view, I disagree with this statement, as education should not be considered as a tool but as a goal to gain new knowledge and skills.
