Rewarding pupil is a vital component in a successful education system. Recently, which students are rewarded has become a controversial topic. Whereas some citizens are of the view that it should be based on academic results, others, including me, opine it should depend on the academic progress of the student because this possibly enhances his future prospects and personality.

Under British and Australian laws a jury in a criminal case has no access to information about the defendant's past criminal record. This protects the person who is being accused of the crime. Some lawyers have suggested that this practice should be changed and that a jury should be given all the past facts before they reach their decision about the case. Do you agree or disagree? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Although some expert opinions support the availability of past criminal records to the jury, as far as I am concerned, such policy should not be realized. Past criminal records would likely bias the judgment of the judge. Moreover, these documents would add to the workload of legal workers, further preventing them from giving a fair sentence.

Nowadays, the government spends a great amount of money to protect the environment. However, a number of people believe that they should invest more on other things like education and healthcare. I strongly disagree that it should be spent on other things instead of the environment.

Advertisements are playing a major role in the marketing industry nowadays. Some people believe that advertisements promote new innovative products which may improve our lifestyle while others argue that they make us purchase unnecessary things. However, I strongly believe that the latter view is correct, as will be explained.

Nowadays, in many countries, women have full-time jobs. Therefore, it is logical to share household tasks evenly between men and women. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

In the current scenario, having a job is significant for a family to lead a stress-free life irrespective of gender. Women are doing complete- time jobs in many countries to support their family, and the household chores should be shared by a man too; this phenomenon could not see before when women used to look after their children and family all the time, once they got married. I completely agree with the statement and would like to elucidate my supporting points in the following paragraphs.

Some people believe that organizations should employ creative people and work without supervision, while others feel that it is more important to hire an obedient team player. I believe that companies should hire a good mix of personalities in order for them to flourish.

In this context, some experts opine that educational institutions should give awards or medals to the students who perform the best in exams. But, other thinkers assert that the children who show progress should be given more recognition. I will discuss both these opinions and conclude with a personal view.

It is considered by some that pursuing tertiary degree is the most desirable approach to be a successful employee at work, while others argue that getting a job after finished secondary education is far more promising. In this essay, I will discuss both arguments and provide my view.

Music has long been part of the cultural identity of nations. Since ancient ages, it has bonded people with love and reflected a sense of unity among them. I strongly agree that music can bring peace and harmony between different cultures and eras.

It is true that fast food consumption is becoming very popular in so many countries causing lots of health concerns for people. I strongly agree with the idea of the government implementing a high tax rule on fast food products in order to reduce its consumption.

A lot of teenagers and youngsters, nowadays prefer to do small scale jobs or to travel to nearby states before joining their colleges. It is different from the previously practising belief that one should complete his or her education before anything else. In my opinion, travelling or doing a job before getting into college is beneficial in many aspects

In the ultra-modern epoch, it is a point of debate that people show less interest to talk with their parents and relatives as compare to the past.Undoubtedly, this notion remains successful in keeping the majority in its favour but I agree with this statement up to a certain extent.The subsequent paragraphs would elucidate multifarious factor in support of my argument.

Nobody would dispute the fact that children should study and improve their knowledge. Some people believe that children should be taught at home and this is the best way to develop. However, others think that youngsters should go to school and be with classmates. To my mind, kid should be taught in school.In this essay, I will discuss both methods and give a relevant opinion.

Nowadays,there are many different schools such as single-gender schools and mix-schools all over the world, so that parents could choose which kind of schools that their kids should go into. Some people hold the opinion fo this if the kids went to the single-gender school might have negative effects in their future. In my point of view, I would say I disagree with this.

Applicants of universities are facing increasing gender discrimination nowadays in their admission step and some people suggest that universities should maintain a 1-1 gender ratio in all their subjects. Although I can understand the reason behind, I think it goes too far towards the other side of a balance.

Climate changes are the most recent global concern. Some educational experts believe that education about the protection of the environment is as crucial as reading and writing education. From my point of view, it is true, and I will bring some reasons for this argument in my essay.

Broadcasting news reports on the air or on papers by the concerned news editing personnel’s are highly influenced by the various factors, taken into consideration while making a decision to publish a sort of information. Firstly, this essay will discuss, how the governing bodies and rule and regulation of information technology affect it and secondly, the wrong impression of bad news and the positive impacts of good news on society will be examined.
