Some people say that parents have the most significant influence in a child's development. However, other say that things like television or friends have the must important influence on them. Discuss both the views and give your opinion.

It is argued that technology and social circle around the child has an enormous impact on the growth while, some individuals believe that parents play a vital role in the development of their offsprings. In my opinion, parents are the first person who taught their children the difference between right and wrong and most of the characteristics are inherited genetically.

Many criminals commit further crimes as soon as they are released from prison. What do you think are the causes of this? What effect will this have on society?

Studies show that people commit crimes either due to need or due to their mental state. Be it because of the surroundings they are left back in or because of the lack of bare minimum funds to look after themselves, we see people of criminal background reverting back to their old selves even after servicing their time in prisons. This ultimately would cost society time, money and could sometimes interfere with the development.

Some people say that now we can see films on our phones or tablets there is no need to go to the cinema. Others say that to be fully enjoyed, films need to be seen in a cinema. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

For many decades we are enjoying watching movies in theatres, but now the time has been changed. It is the era of smartphones and tablets. Therefore, a number of persons argue that we do not require to go to the big screen, as we have our mobiles and electronics gadgets to watch the films. In this essay, we discuss both aspects of a written statement.

In most nations, economic development is prioritised by the government above all other issues. The benefit to this is how it enables a smooth flow of other sectors and the drawback is how overlooking other concerns will affect it. In my opinion ,I believe it is a negative trend to focus on economic growth only.

Under British and Australian laws a jury in a criminal case has no access to information about the defendant's past criminal record. This protects the person who is being accused of the crime. Some lawyers have suggested that this practice should be changed and that a jury should be given all the past facts before they reach their decision about the case. Do you agree or disagree?

It is often argued that people who had criminal record previously should not be given because it can help to protect those defendants, while some attorneys believe that the past information of criminals needs to be released before making case decisions. In my perspective, I partly agree with this statement, as I think the past facts of offenders whether should be given depends on the situation of the case.

Museums and art galleries should concentrate on local works rather than showing the cultures or artworks from other countries. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

The government should focus on the museums and art galleries, apart from this showing the cultures or artworks from the foreign countries. I agree with the given statement and also I will explain some examples in the below paragraphs with a proper conclusion.

In the future, nobody will buy printed newspapers or books because they will be able to read everything online without paying. to what extent do you agree or disagree?

With the emergence of the internet, newspapers and books sales have drastically declined. Moreover, there are predictions that in the nearest future everybody will be able to access different contents online without payment. As much as I agree with the first claim, I strongly oppose the second part of an argument. This essay aims to discuss both claims.

In some areas of the US, a curfew is imposed, in which teenagers are not allowed to be out of doors after a particular time at night unless they are accompanied by an adult. What is your opinion about this?

Recently, We have heard that 'curfew' has been effected in many parts of the US, where young age children are restricted to go out of their houses between midnight to early in the morning, except their parents give them company. In my opinion, I agree with the written statement as it’s about the safety concern of teenagers.

Some people believe that schools should only teach children subjects which are beneficial to their future career and therefore other subjects such as music and sports are not important. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Currently, the world is revolving around science and technology. Some people , therefore, argue that schools should teach subjects which are essential to children's future career rather than the arts. I completely disagree with this statement mainly because music and sports help students to perform better in other subjects and some people are living large through them.

People have different views about whether the protection of the environment is under responsible by the government or of folk. In my ,opinion individuals have some responsibility but major things need to be taken by the council.

In order to study at university students are required to pay expensive tuition fees. Not all students can afford them so some people think that university education should be free for everyone. To what extent do you agree?

Tuition fees for tertiary education is so expensive that many students struggle to raise it. Some people believe that university education should not be charged. I completely agree with this statement mainly because it brings equality among learners and secondly they can focus on learning only.

It is often said that, music is the connecting bridge between different society, age groups and even countries too. I do agree with the writer statement and I will eloborate in this essay that how music play a major role.

Traffic accidents are continuously increasing day by day. Especially in developed countries , a high number of people died and injuries in traffic disaster due to lack of traffic rules. I strongly agreed that strict punishment should be given for traffic offences. Let discuss the reasons in detail.

Most high-level positions in companies are filled by men even though the workforce in many developed countries is more than 50 per cent female. Companies should be required to allocate a certain percentage of these positions to women. To what extent do you agree?

It is common in developed nations that organizations hire male employees for their managerial positions; however, the percentage of female workers is over half of the total workforce. Many argue that companies should allocate a portion of these jobs for female employees. This essay entirely against the reservation for women in high-end corporate jobs.

Some people argue that the lack of houses has had a significant impact on society. This essay not only agrees with the argument but also believes that only government can solve such issues. Firstly, this essay illustrates the security problem and secondly, about the effect on youngsters.

In many countries, people like to eat a wider variety of food than can be grown in their local area. As a result, much of the food people eat today has to come from other regions. Do you think the advantages of this development outweigh the disadvantages?

Momentarily, the urge of experimenting with eatables by humans has ignited the emergence of new cuisines globally; consequently, foreign food items are becoming more consumable besides the local food. This depicts myriad benefits including employment generation, familiarization of different food cultures as compared to few drawbacks such as a threat to the extinction of local specialities.

Some people subscribe to the belief that reading helps enhance language skills and creativity, whereas watching television does very little for these abilities. Personally, I support this opinion for several reasons, which will be laid out in this essay.

As we all know, books use text to convey ideas and quite often there are no images or illustrations to picture the scenes described in the book; therefore, we have to use our own imagination while reading. For example, reading a fantasy novel that contains mythical creatures one would normally see the appearance of those characters in their mind while following the plot. In contrast, movie heroes on a TV screen are usually created for the viewer by directors and producers of the film. Watching TV substitutes the need to develop one’s own imagination because the characters and their surroundings are shown on the screen.

It is believed by some that having friends who have similar ideas as them would be advantageous. Whereas, others disagree and assert that it is ideal to opt for friends sometimes with different perspectives. I too am an advocate of the latter as it would facilitate an individual to grow.

Many people believe that parents should give the freedom to make their own preferences on daily things like food , clothes and leisure , as a result, which occupied by only those people who just think about their own desires , while other people argue that it is significant for offsprings to make decisions about things that impacted them . According to my point of view that guardians should give the freedom for choosing their favourite ones after providing a guideline for it . This essay explains both views with my opinion , followed by a reasoned conclusion.

It goes without saying that young people have such an active social life at the present days, especially in their leisure time. However, focused on their safety, some local governments in the United States claim that it would be beneficial if they just go out with an adult at night. I tend to agree with this because, from my point of view, they are not conscious enough about their acts.
