In recent years, television has contributed most to changing the quality of life of ordinary people. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is argued by some people that in the last few years watching television has the most effective in changing the quality of life of normal people. In this essay, I totally agree because our life had become lazier and more comfortable.

In some countries an increasing number of people are suffering from health problems as a result of eating too much fast food. It is therefore necessary for government to impose a higher tax on this kind of food. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

In some countries, many people are suffering from health issues due to excessive consumption of junk food. The view of some people is that government should increase tha taxes on this food. I totally disagree with the statement and I will justify my point in the following paragraphs.

Eventually, technology will solve the most important environmental problems the world faces today. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

The use of technology is becoming increasingly popular in almost every sphere of our modern life. Some people therefore suggest that most of the environmental problems would be solved by the blessings of advanced technology ultimately. However, I partially agree with this statement and in this essay, I will explain my views with pertinent examples.

Some people think that children should not watch television because it has negative effects, while others believe that television helps children. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

It is thought by a few individuals, that children should not allow to watch TV set, as it’s has many adverse effects and some other group believe children should watch the TV as it’s support them to learn more about the studies and enhance their knowledge.

Nowadays, international tourism is the biggest industry in the world. Unfortunately, international tourism creates tension rather than understanding between people from different cultures. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

In this day and age, international tourism is boosting among countries in the globe and can make enormous financial profits. However, there is concern about tension rather than understanding. I believe that international tourism has some different cultural background.

Some think that governments should tax unhealthy foods to encourage people to eat healthier. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is undeniable that these days fast food has already become common worldwide.As scientists claim, it is not a healthy option and may lead to a great deal of illnesses. In my view, implementing huge taxes on junk-food manufacturers is a good way to reduce their production and, consequently, might result in people choosing healthier alternatives.

Tests and examinations restricts teachers creativity and innovation, and they also exert unnecessary pressure on young learners. To what extent do you agree or disagree? Provide reasons for your answer. Include relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

In today's world, education plays essential role in everyone's career. Increasing the level of study is not difficult for the students to tackle, but also for the teachers. So, some think that preparation for the examinations and weekly test is a restriction on teachers and also exerts pressure on learners. I strongly agree with the statement and elaborate various reasons in further paragraphs.

These days, career changes have become preferable to youngsters; however, a number of people would rather stay in one job permanently. Personally, I firmly believe that the benefits of a job switch are more significant than those of a long-lasting job.

Some people believe that government money should be spent on important things rather than arts such as painting and music. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is argued that the government should allocate resources to necessities like the economy, education or health, but others claim it to be more important in painting and music. It is disagreed about prioritizing expenditure only on essential things but less significant. This essay will discuss about the importance of painting, followed by the necessary reason of music in our lives.

In many countries students are engaged in some sort of paid work . Some people regard this as completely wrong, while others consider it as valuable work experience, important for learning and taking responsibilities. What is your opinion?

Education in most countries is not free, especially if a student is pursuing higher secondary education. Such university education can get expensive as the student has to pay for his tuition, accommodation, food, travelling, study material etc. Hence, many students resort to part time jobs in their universities or at a local store to cover up for the expense. While this approach would prove beneficial for the students, it would make them more responsible and help gain the required work experience, many would argue it to be wrong and students must only focus on their studies. In my opinion, students must enrol themselves for a part time job and the essay would elaborate its advantages and prove that it outweighs the negative implications.

In a number of countries, some people think it is necessary to spend large sums of money on constructing new railway lines for very fast trains between cities. Other believe the money should be spent on improving existing public transport. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion .

There are some people supporting the opinion that countries should not spend their funds on railways and they have to develop existing facilities and old public network.I side with those who opine that dedicate some proportion of budget to extend the railway network and make new ones is essential.

Art is considered an essential part of all cultures throughout the world. However, these days fewer and fewer people appreciate art and turn their focus to science, technology and business. Why do you think that is? What could be done to encourage more people to take interest in the arts?

Though art has always been an intrinsic part of all cultures, its appreciation has been diminishing in recent times. This essay will analyse the reasons for this trend and also articulate the steps needed to motivate people to appreciate the craft.

Some people think that young people should go to university to further their education while others think they should be encouraged to work as car mechanics or builders etc.to serve society. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

There is the famous opinion, that young adults should go to colleges in order to advance their schooling, whereas others think that it is better to build own career as a junior worker. Personally, I totally agree with both opinions.

The restoration of old buildings in major cities in the world costs numerous government’s expenditure. This money should be used in new housing and road development. Do you agree or disagree?

Nowadays, the renovation of ancient and historical buildings costs the government a huge amount of money which can be used to build more houses and roads. While I think it is important to develop the cities, it is also important to conserve historical buildings.

In many countries, people are moving away from rural areas and towards urban areas. Why do you think that is? What problems can this cause?

Nowadays, a common trend observed in many parts of the world is the mass migration of individuals from rural to urban communities; they cite monetary benefits like increased pay, better job prospects as well finer education offered by urban areas as main reasons. Whist, all the reasons mentioned above are advantageous, there are some drawbacks which need to be considered; these include increased air pollution, more traffic congestions, expensive lifestyle, and finally decreased ties with our community.

In the last 20 years there have been significant developments in the field of information technology (IT), for example the World Wide Web and communication by email. However, these developments in IT are likely to have more negative effects than positive in the future. To what extent do you agree with this view? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own experience or knowledge.

Technology apps has become widely popular among a developed countries for a different purpose like business and travel. A segments of people believe that some application for communication like email, yahoo, gmail may have a disadvantage outweigh the advantages in a near future. However, i intend to go deeply into the roots before agreeing with the statement.

When a country develops its technology, the traditional skills and ways of life die out. It is pointless to try and keep them alive. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

In this age of advance science, many new technologies have been developed and countries around the world have embraced these developments in every walk of their life. However, such embracement has caused the traditional skills and ways of life to die out. Moreover, some say that holding on to those values and ways of life is meaningless and should be shunned and moved on. But, in my opinion, these ancient cultures and traditions are very important and should not be allowed to die off as they play an integral part in the community's identity and prosperity.

Some say that because many people are living much longer, the age at which people retire from work should be raised considerably. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Thanks to the technological and medical breakthroughs, people who have serious illnesses such as cardiovascular diseases and pulmonary problems can be treated properly. As a result, the average life expectancy has been raised significantly, which has sparked long-lasting argument among people about whether the government should push the retirement age to a higher level. From my perspective, I totally agree with this suggestion.

Popular events like football World Cup and other international sporting occasions are essential in easing International tensions and releasing patriotic emotions in a safe way. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

Sports events around the world have gained a lot of popularity and have become a symbol of pride for the hosting nation. However, in the midst of the games, some suggest that it would be better to discuss critical political issues with other world leaders attending the event to ease of international tension, while some consider otherwise. This essay would discuss both views and prove that such gatherings are essential in easing international tension and releasing patriotic emotions.

Some people believe that teacher's wage depends on teaching methods, it may lead to the cause of underpaid teachers. Therefore, the teachers should not be evaluated by only the teaching methods. This essay will discuss why this essay disagrees with this statement.
