Many modern children spend a great deal of time sitting in front of a television or computer screen. This is extremely harmful to their development. Therefore, parent should strictly limit the time that children spend in this way. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is important to consider how much time is devoted to entertainment by young children nowadays. While some people suggest that adolescents should spend limited time on computers and televisions, others argue that these gadgets can supplement learning. In this essay, I will discuss both sides of the argument and explain my support for the latter opinion.

In this modern era, the use of smartphones is very common and it is growing day by day. Some parents think that young children should not use smartphone while some parents believe that they are important to keep in touch with their children. In my opinion, I feel that children should have smartphones with internet access. I think this way for two reasons, which I will discuss in this essay.

Nowadays, due to enhancement in technology globally, more and more adults work from home and, also children are learning their courses from home, this is because technology is cheaper and easily accessible. In my opinion, I think that it is a positive development because students and employees save their valuable time and money and, also due to cheap internet they can attend their lectures and meeting online. I will explain my reasons for it in the following paragraphs.

A common opinion is that commercials are harmless to their viewers. Despite that, it is often believed that adverts harm young people’s well-being, actions and family dynamics. Therefore, advertisements directed at young audiences should be prohibited. I believe this is entirely true due to the pressure faced by parents, unhealthy eating habits and unwanted behaviours.
