The type of subjects to which university students dedicate their time to study has sparked considerable controversy. While some advocate for mere studying subjects constructive for their future, I, along with others believe that studying the favourable ones benefits them the most due to reasons further elaborated on in this essay.

Some people think that the best way to broaden young people’s understanding of the world is to encourage them to travel to other countries. do you agree or disagree?

Some people state that the best way to develop your worldview is by pushing boundaries and exploring new countries. From my point of view, individuals can utilize this method if it is possible. However, there are several other ways to improve your worldview.

Some people feel that the legal age at which people can marry should be at least 21. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Few folks believe that the lawful age for marrying someone should be at least 21. I totally agree with the notion due to not having enough maturity and they do not have financial stability.

More and more people today are spending large amounts of money on their appearance in order to look younger. Why do people want to look younger? Do you think this is a positive or negative development?

Of all the problems that are still baffling scientists, perhaps one of the most challenging is how to combat the effects of the ageing process. Although there are sensible reasons why increasingly many people choose to have plastic surgery such as a face-lift or brow-lift or buy beauty products to make themselves look younger. I feel that this development is largely negative.

Some people think that the main purpose of schools is to turn children into good citizens and workers, rather to benefit them as individuals. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Nowadays, the final destination of academics is always a concern and argued about how it should be. Certain people hold the view that the ultimate goal of schools produce a good population and workers instead of bringing advantages to each person. From my point of view, even though becoming a responsible resident is vital to some extent, improving the personality of pupils is more significant.

Nowadays, many believe that schools should not provide grades to students. From my point of view, although testing is useful, the learning environment could be improved if there were no grades; thus, children could learn productively without pressure.

As a result, some people believe that non-academic subjects, such as physical education and cookery, should be removed from the school syllabus so that children can concentrate on academic work. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Every person in this world must have a desire to have a successful life. However, the standard of success varies from one person to another. Some people argue that it is important to eliminate non-academic subjects in schools and only focus on academic subjects, whereas others think non-academic subjects should still be maintained. I personally believe that non-academic subjects are as important as academic subjects and should not be eliminated from the school's curriculum.

Although intractable schoolchildren can be found in most educational settings, the behaviour of school pupils in many parts of the world has worsened in recent years. This state of affairs can be attributed to several factors and this essay will suggest several viable solutions to remedy the situation.

While some people believe that video games can be both fun and educational, others think otherwise, saying that these games are likely to have a harmful impact on users. Personally, I agree with the latter school of thought for several reasons.

Learning the distinction between right and wrong is crucial for children at an early age. Some assume that punishment is necessary to facilitate this learning process. However, I entirely disagree with this statement which will be discussed in this essay.

Some people say that advertising is extremely successful at persuading us to buy things. Other people think that advertising is so common that we no longer pay attention to it. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

In contemporary society, advertisements are everywhere. They are shown in TV programs, on social media, on the streets and in mansions. It has become a crucial part of modern metropolises. Most time, advertising has been seen as successful at persuading people to consume. However, some argue that since advertisements have become so universal, it has lost its appeal. From my perspective, whether it is still worth a look or not depends on the commercial.

Economic development is seemingly achieved at the cost of the environment. This has led some to propose that governments should halt economic growth, but many people posit it as the only panacea for starvation and poverty. My stance is that economic advancement is not entirely to blame for environmental problems and that it plays a key role in alleviating world hunger and breaking the vicious circle of poverty.

Of all the worries young couples often have, perhaps the most incessant one is about whether they are prepared to raise their children. This has led some to believe that newly-wed couples should attend parenthood preparation courses to best rear their children, and I personally think that there is little to disagree with in this observation.

Friendships that take place online are not as meaningful as those where people meet each other face to face. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Nowadays, the rapid development of technology has increased the opportunities for people around the world to connect and become friends easily. From my point of view, although online friendships can be real bonding and it is without a doubt a new way of making friends, in-person friendships are more meaningful.

Schools are perceived as the lighthouse of a country, and if training is the foundation of a country, then schools are where it should be established. Academies’ primary goal is a never-ending argument, though. I concur that a school’s primary goal should be to develop students into ethical, morally upright individuals committed to assisting civilization, rather than turning them into avaricious, self-serving money-making machines by assisting them individually merely to be prepared for employment. In the following paragraphs, I shall elaborate on my opinion.

Nowadays, there has been an incredible increase in people who suffer from significant overweight. Although involving higher prices or tax will reduce its number, a more effective way is to have workshops about healthy lifestyles.

Certain individuals believe that in today's world, there is no benefit to the existence of non-domesticated animals, as it is just a misuse of resources. However, while wild animals help regulate the population sizes of various species, I firmly believe that wild creatures often put people's lives at risk.

Nowadays we are producing more and more rubbish. Why do you think this is happening? What can governments do to help reduce the amount of rubbish produced? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

As we all might know, we are indeed producing lots of rubbish each day, there are many examples which might be useful to stop this trend, and I will discuss the reasons why it is happening in the first place and share some of my personal knowledge in this essay which can be helpful to reduce rubbish.

Many teachers around the world seem to have difficulty dealing with the inappropriate behaviour of children. I believe that the primary reasons come from the declining support from parents and their growing dependence on digital devices in daily life. Practical solutions such as the education of social manners and information literacy will be necessary to promote their responsible acts in the future.
