Many people believe that social networking sites (such as Facebook) have had a huge negative impact on society. To what extent do you agree?

Social media has been gaining more and more popularity these days. The majority of people have at least one social media account such as Facebook or Instagram, in which they spend their time a lot. Some people argue that online platforms are beneficial because they make it possible to connect with people everywhere in the world. However, many others suggest that these platforms have detrimental effects on our lives. I firmly agree with the latter for several reasons.

Without capital punishments (the health penalty) our lives are less secure and crimes of violence increases. Capital punishment in essential to control violence in society. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

Crimes are exacerbated when severe penalties are not in effect which puts the citizens in constant fear. In order to achieve peace in society, it is crucial to place order and control by implementing strong foundations of punishment. Hence, I completely agree with this statement and I shall explain why in this essay.

Some people think that current environmental issues are global problems and should therefore be dealt with by the government while others believe that these problems can only be tackled by individuals. Discuss both sides and give your opinion.

Many argue that threats should be addressed by authorities, while others say that they should be solved by individuals. In my opinion, I believe that state organizations have significant opportunities to protect nature.

It is important for people to take risks, both in their professional lives and their personal lives. Do you think the advantages of taking risks outweigh the disadvantages? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

For me, I think the advantages of taking risks are more than the disadvantages. Taking risks will affect my personality and change my life. There are some reason why I think taking risks is worth it.

Many believe that people who have been in prison can become good citizens later, but there also people who believe ex-criminals will relapse sooner or later. Discuss both view and express your opinion?

While many are of the argument that ex-prisoners will re-offend sooner or later. Although there is indeed a strong case to be made for this argument, my stance is that people who have been in prison are entirely likely to be better residents later.

Some people think that music plays an important role in the society while others believe it’s simply a form of entertainment. Discuss both view and give your own opinion.

It is considered by several people that music has a strong role to play in society, while other individuals think that it is a mere kind of amusement. From my perspective, I believe the educational values and occupation opportunities obtained from music should not be disregarded, although a large part of people listen to music for no particular purpose.

Children can learn effectively by watching television. Therefore they should be encouraged to regularly watch television whether at home or school. Do you agree or disagree?

Education is unquestionably one of the most prevalent and worrying issues in any society, and its management should be taken seriously. Of course, it is important to involve a variety of methods in order to improve the process of learning. However, despite a few benefits of television, I consider this option not to be suitable for everyone.

It has become easier and more affordable for people to travel to other countries. Do you think it is a positive or a negative development?

In the recent years, it is totally critical for countries to enhance travel industry. There are a numer of notions believing that since mass travelling through nations become easier, it can boost a country's economy, while other views think that it is crucial to stricten tourism at a reasonable scale. In my opinion, there are both positive sides and drawbacks of having affordable travel.

Many manufactured food and drink products contain high levels of sugar; which causes many health problems. Sugary products should be made more expensive to encourage people to consume less sugar. Do you agree or disagree?

In recent years, the phenomenon of people consuming vast carbohydrates is happening constantly and resulting in numerous health issues while some individuals consider that factories should raise the price of sugary items in order to ingest less sugar. Similarly, I strongly agree with the above statement and I will further emphasize them in the following essay.

Interviews form the basic criteria for most large companies. However, some people think that the interview is not a reliable method of choosing whom to employ and there are other better methods. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is believed by some experts that the traditional approach of recruiting candidates which is interviewing is the best way, whereas others think different methods such as exams writing, CVs, cover letters or application letters and many more are good. I strongly agree with the statement, "interview is the most reliable approach to recruit workers" because this method assists the recruiters to know the person and his ability to do the work and their problem-solving abilities.

Modern technology has more negative effects on our lives than positive ones. To what extent do you agree or disagree?Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant example from your own knowledge or experience.

One of the most pressing issues of our contemporary era is technological inventions. Some people are of the view that recent technologies are detrimental to our society, while, other believe that the technology which has been produced lately are beneficial for mankind. I clearly agree with the perspective that modern technological advantages are a blessing for our living though I support that there is a variety of scope for exploitation.

There have been many technological developments in the past few decades, for example in telecommunications, transport and health. What technological development do you think has been the most important? How has it changed people's lives? Have all the changes been positive?

There have been many technological developments in the last 10 years in various fields, for me, telephones have been one of the most important because they have changed people's lives by revolutionizing the way we communicate and work. But not all the changes brought about by technology have been positive.

A large number of individuals argue that music is very essential part of the community, whereas, others believe that it is only a mere form of enjoyment for the masses. This essay will outline both views but in my opinion, music plays a crucial role in shaping culture, unifying society and helping people to express their emotions.

Some people believe that one of the best ways to solve environmental problem is to increase the cost of fuel for cars and other vehicles. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Whilst some people consider that to solve environmental issues the price of fuel for all types of vehicles should be raised, I completely disagree with this statement for some reasons: the primary reasons for rejecting this view are that it gives rise to increased inflation, and this way seems like punishment rather than a solution.

Some people believe that it is best to accept a bad situation, such as an unsatisfactory job or shortage money. Others argue that it is bette to try and improve such situations. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

It is apparent that both a bad position and a good position all consist of our life parts. Especially in a bad situation, some consider that we should accept the reality that is bad for us, including an unsatisfactory occupation or a shortage of money. While other people think that the best way to solve such a problem is to do our utmost and promote it. In this essay, I will explain both sides and give support to my opinion that we should change our situation.

"This time is the best period of life in the history of living" some people believe. I think. This opinion in some aspects is true, but I believe, that living in other times was enjoyable.

The decision to live in the country or the city is made for fundamentally different reasons. According to me, the breadth of chances offered in cities outweighs the health advantages of living in the country.

Every government wants to ensure a safe and fast commuting experience for its citizens and an efficient transportation system for trade facilities. Thus when the question arises if a government should focus on improving its railways rather than roads, many people tend to agree. I also concur with the statement that the government should spend more money on the railway system rather than roads.

Nowadays, it is becoming common for children to use smartphones. However, they spend a lot of time on their gadgets. In my view, this should be perceived as a negative trend for two main reasons.

Nowadays, the population of the world boosts to a great number and became a problem that leads to several causes. There is a widespread divergence of opinions over the development. In my opinion, it is the biggest problem faced by humanity.
