1. In recent years, pressure on school and university students has been increasing and they are pushed to work very hard from a young age. Do you think this is a positive or negative development?

In the modern world, school and university students suffer from a growing amount of pressure. As a result, they start working at an early age. Although students can earn more money if they commence working as early as possible, in my opinion, it should be viewed as a negative situation since students cannot acquire patience.

It is more important to learn about local history than foreign history. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

In the modern era , it is always handy to learn about the history of native as well as foreign land because both have an important role to play in the learning process. Therefore, I partially agree with the above notion that one should only read about local history.

Car ownership has increased so rapidly over the past thirty years that many cities in the world are now ‘one big traffic jam’. Do you agree with this statement? What measures can governments take to discourage people from using their cars?

Some people said that many cities today have experienced big traffic jams since the increase in car ownership over three decades later. I cannot argue with this statement as more society thinks that using a private car is more reliable than using any other transportation that leads to congestion in many cities and to prevent this, authorities need to make a campaign and raise taxes on cars.

Some people think that the government should subsidise fruit and vegetables to make healthy food more affordable. Others argue that the government should tax unhealthy food instead. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Urban lifestyle leads to nutrition problems like consuming fast foods and processed foods. Poor diet and its consequences are common health problems in our society. Many people think that the government should subsidise healthy products to promote healthy eating habits, while some people argue that the administration should tax unhealthy foods. I will discuss both views in this essay and will provide my opinion.

Most successful inventions do not rely on complicated technology. In fact, some of the world’s greatest inventions have been very simple things. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Human beings have made progress over the course of several decades. Most successful inventions do not depend on complicated technology. Although recent inventions contain complicated technology, I agree with the given statement because well-known inventions that human beings had made are only composed of simple advancements.

The impact that the growing demand for more flights has had on the environment is a major concern for many countries. Some people believe that one way to limit the number of people traveling by air is to increase tax on flights. To what extent do you think this could solve the problem?

In modern times, the demand for international as well as domestic air travel has tremendously increased. Furthermore, many countries fear that this may cause adverse effects on the environment. Therefore, proposals have been made to increase the taxes imposed on air travel as it is believed that doing so will encourage fewer flights. Hence, decreasing carbon emissions and resulting in achieving a cleaner planet. Sounds simple, right? Well, it's not that simple. I believe that this solution will not be sufficient to fix the problem at hand.

Some people believe that professionals, such as doctors and engineers, should be required to work in the country where they did their training. Others believe they should be free to work in another country if they wish. Discuss both these views and give your opinion.

Nowadays, the number of people who are professionals increases. Although some people think that experts must work in the country where they learnt their jobs, others believe that there should not be any obligations to work in a certain country. I am inclined to believe that every people can choose to work in the areas where they want.

It is believed that there are a progressive number of pressures put on children. Reasons for this phenomenon vary, and I will suggest several measures to combat it in the following paragraphs.

It is widely opined that the increasing trend of online shopping will completely replace physical shops. I completely disagree with this notion.

Parents are the most upbringing factor in the upbringing of a child. However, there are predominantly two contrasting views where a section of society claims that parents should narrate the stories to their offspring while others emphasize that kids can it's not necessary as they can read books, watch TV or movies by themselves. I am of the opinion that parents should tell stories to their little ones so that they are always on the right track.

PEOPLE’S SHOPPING HABITS DEPEND MORE ON THE AGE GROUP THEY BELONG TO THAN OTHER FACTORS. TO WHAT EXTENT DO YO AGREE OR DISAGREE?

In this modern era, youngsters craved to buy more and more products. Whereas, senior adults are looking forward and only focus on particular subjects rather than shopping. Hence, I personally believe that shopping habits do not depend on people’s maturity, it depends on taste and choice. So, I strongly disagree with the given statement and I will explain my points with concrete examples.

Creative artists should always be given freedom to express their own ideas (in words, pictures, music or film) in whichever way they wish. There should be no government restrictions on what they do. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Artists have always been inspiring humanity and motivating society to make progress for centuries. Among all characteristics that artists must have, creativity obviously plays a pivotal role. Thus, this leads impressionable people to believe that artists should not be restricted by government regulations on their speeches and behaviours. In my view, this opinion is reasonable to some extent but suffers from certain logical and factual issues. In this essay, I will explain why I only partially agree with this and the detail of my thoughts will be provided.

Modern technology has made it possible for people to view exhibitions at home, so museums and art galleries will disappear soon. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

With modern technology finding its way into our lives, today people can easily take virtual tours to see artwork all over the world through the internet. Thus, some people believe that it is no longer needed to keep places such as museums and art galleries. However, this statement suffers from some logical and factual issues, and I hardly agree with this.

It is frequently maintained that living in a city is superior, but others disagree and believe that living in the country is best. While having a modern life with better amenities and more opportunities for personal growth, I think that residing in the countryside is preferable since there is less pollution and life is more peaceful and quiet.

Due to the development and rapid expansion of supermarket in some countries, many small, local businesses are unable to compete. Some people think that the closure of local business will bring about the death of local communities. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

In developing countries, there is a massive improvement in business that causes rapidly growing supermalls in urban areas. one of the most pressing issues in modern society is the closure of small businesses due to the establishment of mega shops. Many people believe that the gradual deterioration of rural businesses will affect the economic conditions of the local community. My mind, I think this is a partially positive trend, and in this essay, I will give some arguments in favour of my opinion.

With industrialization around the world, many countries are trying to develop more materials and goods to have a stable economy and the production of these materials has been their ultimate goal. However, I completely disagree with the aforementioned statement and the following essay will elaborate further with examples.

In this modern world , some individuals believe that banknotes will disappear in the future , however , others say that they will remain the same. In my own opinion , although digital currencies are popular , we cannot eliminate cash because of some reasons.This essay will discuss both views.

A growing number of people seek the improvement of their living standards. However, due to economic advancement, people face the loss of something socially important. Although in my opinion, the downside of economic development greatly outweighs its upside because people can spend little time with their families.

Some people think that outdoor activities are more beneficial for children’s development than playing computer games. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

With the development of computers, there is a discussion of how long children should play with them. And because of fewer parents monitoring, children often do not have the self-control to play with them. As a result, the crowds have different views about the idea that there should be more outside games as opposed to the thought that they can play pc plays. I totally agree with the idea, pupils should play more outdoor activities than computer matches.

Nowadays, the community's viewpoint about the traditional education system has been altering due to the technology world that is constantly developing. Some people argue that traditional subjects are more beneficial for pupils, whereas, others support that skills containing applying gives a major chance for students in order to find a job. In my opinion, there are many reasons why lessons depending on skills and talents have a big advantage.
