The role of education is to prepare children for the modern world. School should cut art and music out of the curriculum so that children can focus on useful subject such as information technology. To what extent do you agree.

There is no doubt about the role IT plays in our lives today. With the advancement of technology and the internet, some people argue that children must be prepared for this new world, which means that subjects like art and music must be eradicated from the curriculum. On the other hand, many people believe that these courses should remain. I partially disagree with the notion, that art and music must be removed from the curriculum because although their development in IT is important, the benefits of the arts and music cannot be ignored. In this essay, we shall discuss both sides of this argument.

However, some sections of society believe that more of the administrations' funds must be invested in the sciences as compared to other subjects. I do not agree with the notion and will substantiate my reasoning in the course of this essay.

Conventional education techniques focus on reading, writing, and maths, as these generally are the most commonly used subjects in our everyday lives. Someone argues that countries should produce the food their citizens consume, and minimize the import from other countries. There are some people who think that to be promoted to higher positions you have to work for a company for a long time. In my opinion, to be promoted to higher positions in a company depends on many different variants. Many people argue that food products that contain high levels of sugar should be taxed to lessen buying by people, since it may lead to serious health issues. From a professional view, this will not be much effective in declining the purchase of those items. Governments have to take long term remedies to counter this problem.

Recently there has been an increasing tendency to reading on a screen, whether is a computer, cellphone, or tablet plenty of people are preferring to download their reading materials instead of acquiring them paper-based. Some argue that this behaviour will cause the extinction of physical books, magazines, and newspapers, while others claim that they will continue. In this essay, we will discuss some of the reasons why some prefer to read on electronic devices and others on paper materials.

Almost all high schoolers may consider whether or not it's worth getting a part-time job around their studies. While some claim that there are definitely risks associated with it and teenagers should not neglect their studies, I argue that an after-school activity would be beneficial for young people.

No doubt, people’s health is influenced by the environment and housing conditions. That is why some people opine that governments should focus more on the environment and housing to prevent various ailments. While I do admit that these areas require attention, in my opinion, by simply addressing environmental pollution and housing scarcity, we cannot see much of an improvement in public health.
