Some people think that nuclear energy is better than other sources of power for meeting ever-increasing global needs. To what extent do you agree?

The growth in the world's population and economy and rapid urbanization results in a substantial increase in energy demand. It is believed that nuclear power would meet the consumption of the earth. While there are some benefits/advantages of building these plants, I would argue that using renewable sources is a better option.

It is generally believed that some people are born with certain talents, for instance for sport or music, and others are not. However, it is sometimes claimed that any child can be taught to become a good sports person or musician. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

The conventional wisdom that each person was born with outstanding abilities manifested in a certain field of activity and our task is to discover this gift and develop it throughout our life. However, there is also another position that so-called this giftedness does not exist and everything depends on us. Personally, from my point of view, I believe that everyone has an innate aptitude, but to be successful you need a lot of studying and self-improvement.

Nowadays,people consume medicines prescribed by doctors and changing their medicines if not effective. This is due to the same medicines with different brand enters into the medical market. Some of the medicines are very good while change and others become shows some side effects. This essay will deal with reasons and examples of this.I believe that the doctors would be the best person to know these medicines before prescribing it.

Scientists say that in the future humanity will speak the same language. Do you think this is a positive or negative social development?

It is predicted by scientists that the variety of languages will eventually cease to exist, and people will use the same language all over the world. This idea certainly resembles the story of the Babel tower, but such an outcome is quite possible given the modern trend towards globalisation. I personally see it as a positive sign and will analyse its possible effect on the world-wide development, as well as international conflicts to support my point of view.

In some countries an increasing number of people are suffering from health problems as a result of eating too much fast food. It is therefore necessary for governments to impose a higher tax on this kind of food. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is argued by some people that governments of some countries should impose a high levy on fast food because their citizens are facing health problems due to heavy consumption of this food. It is not agreed that a country should imply a high tax rate on fast food items. Firstly, this essay will discuss the fact that increasing tariff cannot minimize the addiction of food levers and secondly, will discuss the adverse effect on the tax revenue of a nation.

Shopping is now one of the most popular forms of leisure activity in many countries for young adults. Why is this? Do you think this is a positive or negative development?

It is generally claimed that few people opine that arts subjects should be an incumbent part of education and they must be taught in schools. However, some people oppose the above thinking and restrict their thinking to education. I profoundly agree that the school syllabus must embolden students to learn creative things along with education.

Some people say that advertising is extremely successful at persuading us to buy things. Other people think that advertising is so common that we no longer pay attention to it. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

While a certain section of the society believes that commercials influence the buying decisions of consumers, others argue that public interest in promotions have declined because ads are everywhere. Although the reliability of infomercials is questionable, I still believe that advertisement encourages customers to purchase the recommended / suggested products or services.

Phychological illnesses may not be as obvious as physical illnesses or disablities, neverthless they are just as disabling in their own way. Society, however, is more accepting of those with physical than phychological illnesses or disablities. The letter being regarded as a 'taboo' subject sometimes. It is an undeniable fact that society is not accepting people with psychological disabilities as compare to ones who have physical illnesses. So, some obedient citizens believe that people with these disorders must be accepted by human societies. I totally agree with the aforesaid statement.

There are many reasons that can motivate a person to stay working for the same company. Some believe that money is the main reason. (Do you agree or disagree?) What are some other reasons why people may stay?

What motivates a person to stick with an organisation is always been debatable. Many people think that salary is the deciding factor where as another section believes there are other contributing factors including being comfortable too in many ways. This essay will discuss both views and prove that payment can be a major fact but not the sole one.

More than one-tenth of the global population suffers from some sort of psychological issues and yet mental illness gets far less priority than it deserves. Minor psychological issues are often ignored by the family while severe cases are inappropriately treated only to tag them as madmen. There is no denying that mental illness, compared to physical diseases, does not get proper care and acceptance from society all around the world.

While one section of the world believes that there should be a restriction on age at work and they should be retired after the age of 65. However, others believe think that people should be allowed to work according to their will. This essay will discuss both the viewpoints in the forthcoming paragraphs.

I agree that the teachers have more impact on a child's academic skills than parents.The mentor's role is vital in improving a child's academic and social skills to a large extent. At the same time, the role of parents cannot be ignored either.

Nowadays there is increasing pressure on juveniles to have grand success in education, keeping this in mind, some people think of omitting the extracurricular activities. The main reason for thinking of this is so that pupils could concentrate on educational content such as maths and science. I do not agree with this opinion because health stays in optimum condition by doing exercise, so these non-academic subjects help in maintaining good health.

Community service is an essential part of human life. It is not only a question of humanity, but also students can gather lots of real-life experience from it. Although some students may do this on their own, some people think it should be a compulsory part of the high school syllabus. This point of view provides us with two-way comments of both agreeing with it, or may disagreement. In this essay,I’m going to explain both of them with relative reasoning.

I believe that every subject is important, and will benefit the children one way or another.

Learning English at school is often seen as more important than learning local languages. if these are not taught many are at risk of dying out. in your opinion is it important for everyone to study English? should we try to ensure the survival of local languages and if so how?

It is argued by many that teaching English at schools is more crucial than teaching indigenous languages, while I agree that everyone should learn English as a second language because it is the language of international communication and business, I believe that local languages are important as well as should be preserved by creating recorded and printed resources.
