For the time being, educational methods for undergraduates have never failed to provoke controversial debates among people. While some claim that they should concentrate on particular subjects, others believe that it is compulsory to study an eclectic mix of fields until they graduate. I would contend that each statement has its own perks but the former is an optimal way for students to absorb valuable knowledge.

‘Prisons are an expensive way of making bad people worse’ – To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Punishment is often imposed as a consequence of wrongdoings. Locking criminals behind bars is one of the common approaches, however, many people consider this practice as an expensive way of making things worse. I totally disagree with this statement and will provide further details to substantiate the same in the course of the essay.

It is true that the number of persons who use social media instead of communication in person is increasingly growing in recent years. Although I think that this trend has some obvious harmful consequences , I believe that the advantages of communication through social media platforms can outweigh the disadvantages .

The number of environmental issues has significantly increased over a century mainly because of human activities. While some say that the disappearance of specific species of plants and animals is the most important problem, others argue that we have other more vital ones to worry about. From my perspective, other issues should be far more concerned than these ones.

The world is changed by the current technology’s influences. This tendency leads to humans become more closer to each other, meanwhile, destroys some cultural differences between nations. However, in my perspective, technology has a significant positive impact on human development, which has more weight, than its negative consequences.

Due to the medical science advancements made in the past years, many diseases are treated easier and as a result, people's lifespan has increased compared to before. Since animals are mainly used for the process of testing those medications, people have alleged that these developments are a direct violation of animals' rights. Personally, I believe that the benefits are far more important.

People have always questioned the amount of celebrities' income which, as a matter of fact, is in the higher income bracket of society. Many have justified this amount by alleging that this is actually a very hard path to follow, while others claim that entertainment careers should have lower incomes like most jobs. In my opinion, while celebrities should earn higher, their salary should be near to the rest of the community.

It is going without saying that, this topic is a popular matter debated by many, but that can not be circumvented by anyone, because the opinion on this discussion will determine one's attitude. Before rendering my point of view, let us take a glance at both sides of the argument.

It is widely known that people who work in the entertainment industry such as movie stars, music makers, or athletes are highly paid. In fact, I strongly agree with that. Moreover, there are other kinds of occupations that should be getting a higher salary than they receive today due to the nature of work.

Nowadays English has gained popularity in schools which, to some extent has overpowered the usage of vernacular. If such a practice is not checked, local languages may go to the verge of extinction. In my opinion, learning English is vital in today's era. Nevertheless, at the same time, we cannot ignore the importance of our mother tongue.

The world is suffering from numerous environmental problems. A group of individuals present the view that nowadays, losing some kinds of plants and animals is a substantial concern for the environment, whereas others believe that this is not a significant concern for the environment and there is a vast number of issues which are more prominent. I strongly agree with the latter opinion.

In the future, all cars, buses, and trucks will be driverless. The only people traveling inside these vehicles will be passengers. Do you think the advantages of driverless vehicles outweigh the disadvantages?

All the vehicles on roads, including cars, buses, and trucks, will eventually have no one to operate them. Consequently, only the riders can be found to be commuting. Furthermore, having an error-free conveyance is the main benefit of self-driving transport. In contrast, it might create limited job opportunities in the transportation market. In my view, however, a safe road is more advantageous than a lucrative job market.
