Some people think that all university students should study whatever they like. Others believe that they should only be allowed to study subjects that will be useful in the future, such as those related to science and technology. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion

Nowadays many young people have decided to go to university after finishing high school in favour of getting a higher education. Some populations claim they should be free to pursue whatever they like in university. However, there is another group with an opposite way of thinking that argues students must only be allowed to study subjects that could be beneficial for our future like science-based or technological-based fields. This essay will examine both these arguments in the following paragraphs and indicate the writer's view in the end.

This essay will examine both points of view in the following paragraphs then indicate the writer’s view in the end.

Over a half-decade, humankind manages to invent the automobile which is moveable by itself using the program computer and there is a discussion later that in the near future drivers are no longer necessary. From my perspective, I consider the shortcomings of this phenomenon outweigh the beneficial ones because of abundant elements which I will explain these ideas in the essay below.

A number of people advocate online education for having enabled unforeseen capacities within us. From my perspective, I voice disapproval of the latter, believing that far from widening educational inequalities, e-learning benefits students from all walks of life in dissimilar ways.

Several people commented that school training is the most relevant for youngsters mental improvement. However, others argue that homeschooling is the way to follow up. In my opinion, the first view is the most pivotal owing to the fact that formal institutions are the right place to acquire scientific knowledge. Although self-centred learning produces better results. This essay will shed light on both sides of the matter and provide evidence to prove the arguments.

The exponential growth in technology has been a boon as well as a curse for humanity. Every new advance is similar to a coin with two sides. Thus, new security measures like cellphone tracking and cameras have led to a new dilemma of whether they are necessary for safety purposes or a breach of privacy. I strongly agree that the advantages outnumber the disadvantages in this matter. These measures have become indispensable not only for individual safety but also for national security.

It is no doubt that tourism enlights people by giving them chances to experience what happens beyond their territory. Therefore, few individuals and I feel that when we travel to a different continent it is necessary to respect and act in accordance with their regulations.

It's arguable whether citizens play a role in protecting the environment. However, some opine that governments and business organisations have to take on a huge burden to save our planet. In my opinion, both of them have the responsibility to take part in preserving nature.

There is an opinion that primarily staff members who have dedicated many years to working for a particular club should be given executive positions in a company. I disagree with this viewpoint in as much as younger workers may have more skills and if not provided with an opportunity for a promotion, they will become demotivated.
