Children can learn effectively by watching television. Therefore they should be encouraged to watch television regularly at home and at school. TO what extended do you agree or disagree?

Television is the one knowledge resource. Some people think it is good to promote watching television for children to gather knowledge. I strongly disagree with this statement because this is not better than proper time management for watching TV sets of children and the following examples will be provided to support my point of view.

Nowadays English has gained popularity in schools which, to some extent has overpowered the usage of vernacular dialects. If this is not checked, local languages may go to the verge of extinction. In my opinion, learning English is vital in today's era, but at the same ,time we cannot ignore the importance of our mother tongue.

From my perspective, I consider that if that nation is well prepared and wealthy, hosting globally sports contests will result in benefits.
