There is an ongoing interest in the choice of discipline for young college students. Many countries allocate enormous funds to education as they realize its importance. The question now is which two subjects are the most essential and which one is the least. In my opinion, Physics and Mathematics transcend all other courses while geography is least required in this modern era. I will delineate my reasons in this essay, supported with relevant examples.
Being healthy is an essential part of human life. As there is speculation that people's health will be poorer in general, I personally strongly disagree with this statement. Scientific knowledge and technology help maintain a healthy lifestyle more effectively, and the trend of environmental sustainability also reduces harmful substance usage in the environment.
Some people believe that keeping one's home and workplace is essential. Moreover, items should be organised and should be placed at their designated places. I strongly agree with the notion, as this behaviour helps individuals to potray professionalism and fosters accountability amongst them.
Professional athletes serve as role models for millions of fans worldwide. While some argue that their behaviour outside of sports is irrelevant as long as they perform well, I strongly disagree. Athletes hold significant influence over society, and their actions, both on and off the field, shape public perceptions and values.
Inflation is making everything expensive, from houses to groceries. Therefore, it is commonly believed that saving money is essential for everyone, including the younger generation, to secure their future. I strongly agree with this notion, as it enables individuals to reach financial freedom during their difficult times.
There is no denying that some countries face serious challenges with high unemployment rates. Some argue that students should only receive a primary education since job opportunities are limited. However, I strongly disagree with this perspective. Secondary education is essential, as it equips students with advanced knowledge and skills, enabling them to contribute to the economic growth of their country. This essay will discuss why students should have access to both primary and secondary education, regardless of employment conditions.
Scientific developments are occurring at a great rate, but some of them do not seem to benefit people directly. In fact, some scientists regret their own innovations when they are later used for harmful purposes. This essay will argue that while the primary goal of science should be to enhance human lives, expanding knowledge and making discoveries are equally important aspects of scientific progress.
Nowadays, many people turn to traditional remedies, trusting the wisdom of past generations, while others lose faith in conventional medicine and seek alternative solutions. Yet this trend is ambiguous, in my opinion. On the one hand, the lack of regulation in non-traditional methods poses a danger; on the other hand, some of them have been shown to be effective in certain cases. In this essay, I will explain why I take a neutral stance on this issue, believing each person needs to find a middle ground.
Some argue that environmental actions are useless when performed by a single individual whilst others believe that people have a tremendous role in enhancing the environment. I strongly agree with the latter statement that individuals have a significant role in protecting their environment.
It is undeniable that nowadays life is completely different than in the past. However, many people think that the changes that we have had in our societies have been positive while others think the opposite. In this essay, I am going to discuss both points of view and give my personal opinion.
People often argue that the working week should be shortened to allow employees longer weekends. I strongly agree with this view, as it enhances mental well-being and boosts productivity.
Businesses face varying regulations depending on government policies. However, while certain companies go beyond to mitigate their negative impact, many efforts appear inadequate, prompting calls for stricter measures. Others argue that excessive control could slow economic progress and disrupt market stability. I am of the opinion that regulation is necessary to ensure accountability, yet it should not come at the cost of commercial success.
While leaders of most organizations are elderly, some people think that it will be better if more young generations are chosen to lead an organization. Although there are more and more excellent young leaders globally, I am strongly convinced that the older should be a priority because they are not only more qualified and calm enough to build a strong organization but also have good relationships to develop a firm stably.
Throughout the course of history, living in a utopia has been the dream of people around the world; however, the idea of a perfect society has not been agreed upon. The following essay is going to discuss why equality is the key to establishing a utopian society and how this dream can be achieved through educational opportunities.
There have been conflicting views on whether individuals should compete or cooperate with each other in various aspects of their lives. In my opinion, cooperation is more important because it can help people exceed their limits.
In today’s digital world, social media has become a significant concern for young people, leading many to argue that access should be restricted to those over 18. I strongly agree with this viewpoint, as excessive social media use can cause cyberbullying, insecurity, and a distorted perception of reality.
With the widespread use of computers and smartphones, many argue that digital communication negatively affects young people’s reading and writing skills. I strongly agree with this view, as the overuse of technology has led to a decline in traditional literacy abilities, such as spelling, grammar, and deep reading comprehension.
There is an ongoing debate over whether taxpayer funds should be used to search for extraterrestrial life or whether this is an unnecessary expense given the urgent issues that require funding on Earth. This essay will examine both perspectives before presenting my viewpoint.
The issue of whether the government should provide weekly financial assistance to the unemployed is a subject of considerable debate. While some argue that such support could lead to dependency and strain public finances, I strongly agree that providing weekly aid is essential. This policy can help alleviate financial hardships, promote social stability, and enable individuals to focus on securing meaningful employment.
Universities play a vital role in shaping individuals' futures, and their main purpose is often seen as preparing graduates for successful careers. While I agree that equipping students with job-specific skills is essential, I believe that universities should also focus on broader educational goals, such as fostering critical thinking and contributing to society.
