Economic progress is one way to measure the success of one country, while some people think there are other factors. What other factors should be considered? Within these factors, do you think anyone is more important than the others?

The contribution of economic advancement to the success of the nation was always debatable has now become more controversial with many people claiming that it is beneficial while others reject this notion. The substantial influence of this trend has sparked controversy over the potential impact in recent years. In my opinion, the factors like education and sports appear to be more rational. This essay will further elaborate my views on both arguments and thus will lead to a logical conclusion.

It is a true fact, that parliaments of each country should invest in the education sector. Some individuals ponder that more funds should be poured into the science stream rather than investing in other subjects to make improvements. I completely disagree with this notion of giving much hype to one particular stream.

It is often argued that the success of a business should have advertising which attracts customers, while there are others who believe that advertisement is difficult to attend to people every time. Animal annihilation and disturbances in our ecosystem possesses a serious threat to our planet and environment. A segment of society opines that the extinction of some species has major concern for the surroundings; diametrically opposed to this, others believe that human activities also interfere with the natural cycle of the earth. Both statements may advance equally propelling arguments to support themselves, but I am inclined there are many others factors that contribute to these problems.

It is true that languages play an important role in life. Some people argue that governments should invest money in preserving languages to avoid the loss of culture. However, I believe that spending money on saving endangered languages is unnecessary as governments should pay more attention to public services such as health care.

Owing to the variety of crimes, it is common practice to put a convicted person in prison. A section of society often argued that all the criminals are not similar, and consequently, harsh statement for everyone is unfair. However, they outline unpaid community work as punishment for mild offenders. I partially agree with this notion as I also believe a long sentence is required to deter crime.

It is argued by some people that e-press and e-book would totally replace the paper ones as it would be free online reading in the future. I cannot entirely agree that people would only rely on online reading even it is zero cost. However, the printed version still realizes the traditional values of reading.

In the modern world, people have enough access to online, internet, website and so on which resulted in the dependency on this as compared to previous decades. Nowadays, it is believed by some people that as most of the materials like newspapers, books are available online, none of them would purchase the printed newspaper or books. In my opinion, although the accessibility of these things is increasing online, not all of them are interested to buy these materials online. People's psychological aspects of printed newspapers and books as a traditional view and easy access to online might be the reason for interest in both of the cases.

Nowadays, the youngsters tend to spend their available time doing non-healthy activities, where some people think that it can be used to help the community for free, which I would partially agree with.

Some individuals believe raising the minimum legal age for driving cars or riding motorbikes is the most effective method of increasing road safety. While I accept that this policy is acceptable to some extent, I believe it is not the best because there are much better measures to reduce traffic accidents.

Health is one of the most important aspects of human life. It is said that in the future, the average people of individuals will deteriorate. I agree with this view. I believe that people will be dealing with decreased health because of the increasing popularity of fast foods and also the growing amount of stress that each person is facing in his/her everyday life.

In this day and age, in many countries the world over, violent activities have increased exponentially down to the availability of guns. Consequently, there has been a growing body of opinion that carrying revolvers by police should not be allowed in that it can cause in raising the level of offensive tasks. Being a rational mind, I, however, take issue with this notion, for I am of the view that if a police officer carries a gun with him, it is possible to deter offenders from committing crimes and to protect people from a sudden attack.
