A lot of people believe that the amount of violence shown on TV and in the cinema affects the actions of our young people and therefore increases the amount of violence in our society today. Do you agree or disagree with this statement? What can be done to reduce violence in our society today?

Nowadays, it is often believed that the main reason for the increasing number of unlawful actions in the community from youngsters is the harmful influence of cruel actions and various crimes, which are widely being shown on television and cinemas. I fully agree with this assertion because adolescents tend to be highly receptive and look for a role model. Therefore, one of the possible ways to reduce their violent behaviour is maintaining harmonious parent-child relationships, where parents would have an important influence on a child's behaviour and long-term choices.

The population is increasing day by day and with this growth, more shelters are required for people to live in. As the spaces in urban areas are filled with the houses, so the construction of the new one will be possible only in the countryside. It is the belief of a few individuals that outer parts should be preserved from any construction. This essay will discuss my opinion on both aspects.

Success is judged by most people through wealth or material possessions while achieving achievement is possible via other ways. Many believe that younger people are preferred more than people over the age of 50 in getting ideas on the modern workplace, as older people are not rapidly responsive to the changes. I totally agree with the statement, this is because youngsters easily adapt to the changes and they also learn new thing quickly compared to people at the age of 50.

We all agree that man is a social animal and is difficult to live all alone. This feels more true when today most of us are working in a corporate atmosphere. Many believe that an individual improve their cognitive abilities better when working collaborating with others, while others may feel otherwise. Let us discuss both the positive and negative aspects of performing activities in a group from the standpoint of improving our intellectual prowess and why I feel that working in a group is more advantageous in the long term.

It is true that instead of being in the presence of another to engage in human interaction, it has become increasingly popular for people to use social media, which can lead to the facilitation of people’s relationships as well as conducting business. Some disadvantages that this phenomenon has, however, such as the discouragement of real relationships or the deterioration in human health, have led to my conviction that the overall effect of social media is negative.

It is true that many older people believe in traditional values that often seem incompatible with the needs of younger people. I partly agree with this idea because while I opine that some traditional ideas are outdated, I believe that others are still useful and should not be forgotten.
