IELTS Opinion Writing Samples Band 8
Recent years have witnessed a significant increase in the number of youth crimes, causing widespread concern among the public. Therefore, it is of the opinion that providing parents with parental skills can be the most optimal solution to deal with this issue. Personally, I hold a different perspective on this notion and I believe that parents and schools should work together to mitigate this matter.
There is no denying the fact that growth in sectors such as health, education and trade plays an important role in developing poorer countries. While it is a commonly held belief that governments of developed nations should take steps to help developing countries, there is also an argument that opposes it. In my conclusion, I consider that it fears if they support poorer countries which have low income.
In recent years, translation software gradually become popular. However, it is widely argued that there are still many advantages to learning a language. I totally agree, and my view will be explained in this essay.
In current society, there are numerous sources that people can access daily news, it can be through digital media or newspapers. In fact, criminal cases are increasing rapidly all over the world. It is stated that some people believe that criminal information should be prohibited in public newspapers and digital media since this news could be building a negative outcome for society. In my point of view, I agree that there should be certain restrictions when publishing these details through media.
Education is fundamental for everyone to widen the borders of our horizons. Some students attend to subjects in their university duration behind their main educational subject. However, some advocate that they should only superior their study field to gain a qualification, whereas others believe that it is important for them to study not only their main field but also different areas, I would agree with the latter viewpoint.
There are various factors that need to be considered for being successful in life, but only hard work and determination can make a person achieve the true essence of life. Today, the debate is about whether these two skills are enough or whether other factors need to be taken for a successful life. In my opinion, I strongly believe that with hard work and determination, a person can achieve anything in his prospects.
It is believed that ordinary people can not enhance the quality of the community and they are not capable of making changes due to the fact that it is feasible only in the hands of the authorities. However, I strongly disagree with this statement and I believe that individuals can bring enormous benefits to mankind as a whole.
Sports sponsorship is known as a marketing strategy that is used by companies to promote their name, however, its impacts have created a debate. While several people indicate that athletic endorsements have a beneficial effect on companies' promotions, others still raise concerns about their influence. This essay attempts to shed light on both perspectives before concluding that I prefer the former notion.
Advertisement plays an important role in marketing and companies advertise their products with different mottos. Recently, some businesses tend to show their goods have new features. In this essay, the reasons for this kind of advertising and its effects on both sellers and customers will be outlined I think, these methods have negative effects on marketing.
Shifting every now and then is becoming a trend nowadays.
