Only by improving public transportation can we reduce traffic jam in numerous cities. In fact, the population of big cities are more crowded, a large of number people move in inner – city to live lead to streets are often overcrowded with insufficient infrastructure traffic causing the traffic jam. Moreover, people have to tend to use private vehicles more than public transport because it is the easiest way to move in a small road and time flexibility. The government should focus on the quality of public transport to people who believe that public transport is more convenient and useful. If there is comfortable and cheap public transportation such as buses and metro, they will choose to use it rather than drive.
