Scientists have been warning for many years about protecting the environment and that people must limit the use of energy in their daily lives. Despite warnings, many people do not do so. What are the reasons for this and how can people be encouraged to protect the environment?

From the invention of modern science, scientists have been warning that we have to protect our environment, and to do so, we have to reduce the amount of energy we are using now. But, many of us do not cut their uses limit. the primary reasons for not following what scientists said are lack of awareness and the high cost of green energy. To encourage people to reduce the energy uses limit, government have to raise awareness and decrease the cost of green energy. As the environment is degrading gradually, many people are unable to see the changes in the environment. There are many people in this world who are still illiterate, and even some of the literate people are not capable to foresee the upcoming environment disaster. For example, in the USA, according to the survey by CNN, 30 percent of the people still do not know about the changes in the environment. Nowadays, we have seen most of the families have pets such as dogs, cats with them and they treat them as one of family member. While some people believe that having pets who plays with children is good but others argue that it is dangerous as they might get infection from pets. In my view I partially agree that having pets in house is good as pets are more affectionate and caring. In this essay, I will discuss both sides of topic.
