Historic buildings and old neighbourhoods are often preserved in cities to maintain cultural heritage and attract tourism. What role do historic buildings play in modern cities, and should they be protected at the cost of new development?

Historical buildings and ancient districts are usually kept in cities to maintain cultural legacy and attract tourism. In my opinion, historical buildings can remaind people of their identity and it can add to the city"s beauty: nevertheless, I think they should not be conserved because they can cause some issues.

It is observed that in many countries not enough students are choosing to study science as a subject. What are the causes? And what will be the effects on society?

In recent years, society investigators have found an interesting fact: although science is treated as the one of the most important subjects and the whole world consider it significantly, many countries are still concerned about the lower-than-expected level of science students. This strange phenomenon attracts plenty of critical ideas about the causes and the effects to the society.

It is important for all towns and cities to have large public outdoor places like squares and parks. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Town and citiy arrangement is tend to be more and more complicated, since the use of an area is getting various. To some reasons, the government choose to put some large squares or parks, which attracts many arguements about the importance and the nessecity of setting up such places. I absolutely agree that it is very meaningful to include those public use space in city or town planning.

The environment today faces numerous challenges, among which the loss of specific species of plants and animals is often cited as a major concern. Some argue that this biodiversity loss is the most pressing environmental issue, while others contend that other problems, such as climate change and pollution, are more critical. This essay will explore both perspectives before presenting my own view.

Some people believe that young people learn necessary skills by playing electronic games on their computers. Others believe that playing electronic games on computers wastes the valuable times of young people. The benefits of playing computer games are increasing the problem-solving and decision-making skills of young people. The drawbacks of playing computer games are young people become addicted to them and it hinders their concentration in their studies.

There are people believe that they can fulfill their societal obligation by only paying taxes. Meanwhile, others claim that citizens should be accounted for more duties in society. In my opinion, I firmly believe that the duty of citizens is beyond taxes and there are furthermore to do.

There are some who believe that usage of animals for human targets is not appropriate and should be banned, I completely disagree with them because experiments on animals may maintain human health and prevent many diseases as wel as prolonge lives.

Some people contend that having a tidy environment and placing everything in their supposed position is important in both home and workplace. Although the convenience of displacing items seem appealing, I gravitate toward cleanliness as it is proved to be more beneficial in the long term.

As compared to the past people today are choosing to have fewer children than their parents and grandparents. Describe some of the problems that having fewer children can cause and suggest at least one possible solution.

Parents nowadays are inclined to choose having less children than those generations above them, like their parents, grandparents, or great grandparents. Whereas those of older generations usually have more than four children, parents in this modern era generally limit their kids to only two.

1.Nowadays, international tourism is the biggest industry in the world. Some people say that international tourism creates tension rather than understanding between people from different cultures. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

Travelling abroad has been the most significant industry. Although the reason for visiting other domains is communicating people who are from various cultural backround, according to many, it leads conflicts. I totally disagree with this view because tours to different countries both enhances the economy of the country visited and provides effective advertisement.

Prevention is better than cure. Research and treating diseases is too costly so it would be better to invest in preventative measures. To what extent do you agree?

It is true that prevention is better than cure, as the cost and time for treatments could be tremendous. I would agree to a large extent that the investment in prevention is better.

The idea that a regular allowance can help children avoid financial difficulties as adults is compelling, and I largely agree. A consistent weekly allowance teaches budgeting skills, instilling in children the importance of managing finite resources. By allocating a set amount each week, children learn to prioritize spending and save for future needs, an experience that mirrors real-life financial decisions and fosters responsible habits essential in adulthood.

In this contemporary world, in some countries the price of air travelling is decreased in comparison to the past. Some people believed that this bring about drawbacks while others, myself included, subscribe to the view that it will be beneficial.

These days, people consider the arts subjects like music, painting and so on to be crucial items for growing the youth; as a result, secondary schools must have arts classes for all students. I do not subscribe to this idea owing to the fact that all children do not have the same talent in the arts and limited resources and budgets.

Albeit some individuals assert that rivalry in an academic or a professional atmosphere is beneficial , some would argue that collaboration should be prioritised over competion agains each other . I hold the position that a healthy copetitive environment potentially increase the employee’s productivity and students’ knowledge .

Nowadays, a lot of various animal species are at the edge of extinction, consequently plenty of people undertake measures to prevent that. In this essay I will list two possible problems as well as give a solution for both of them.

It is obvious that non-identical physiology and anatomy will result in differences in the abilities and challenges faced by males and females. Some people would give a high value to this inequality while considering some kind of professions. However, in my point of view, it should be taken into account more cautiously.

Many people believe that digital pay methods, such as cards or phones, will displace cash. This essay answers why I think that it is the most possible scenario and why some people might not be happy about it.

Many children these days have an unhealthy lifestyle. Both schools and parents are responsible for solving this problem. To what extent do you agree with this statement?

In general, because of advancement in technology, children’s lives have experienced changes in many aspects, from sedentary lifestyle to eating fast and junk food, and unfortunately, a vast majority of them don’t pay enough attention to their well-being and health status. In this regard, I am of the belief that not only schools and parents should take this problem into consideration, but also media can help to find some effective solutions to address this concerning issue.
