While a group of people believe that protecting society against crime is one of the government's duties, others consider a responsibility to individuals. There are rational arguments on both sides of this contentious topic which will be discussed in detail, followed by my own take on the matter.

On the other hand, there are some huge risks associated with it like variable pay and no replacement which are not a cup of cake for everyone. Thus, even though people choose to be self-employed, they should take into account the disadvantages associated with it.
