But beautiful Indonesian archipelagic features reside and continue their daily work of diverting, trapping, and disrupting one of the Earth’s most voluminous water flows, known as the thermohaline, resulting in the Indonesian Throughflow. In addition to the exclusive location, which lies along the equator and on the crossroad between two big continents (Asia and Australia) and two oceans (the Indian and Pacific Oceans), Indonesia faces complicated oceanic and atmospheric conditions but is blessed with abundant marine resources.
