Nowadays, public debate has been going on over whether how science and technology evolution has a negative impact on our nature and what would be the best way to recover the environment. I tend to believe that research in science and technology can solve these problems for the following reasons.
In my opinion, men and women should have the same educational opportunities. However, I do not agree with the idea of accepting equal proportions of each gender in every university subject. Having the same number of men and women on all degree courses is simply unrealistic. Student numbers on any course depend on the applications that the institution receives. If a university decided to fill courses with equal numbers of males and females, it would need enough applicants of each gender. In reality, many courses are more popular with one gender than the other, and it would not be practical to aim for equal proportions. For example, nursing courses tend to attract more female applicants, and it would be difficult to fill these courses if fifty per cent of the places needed to go to males. Apart from the practical concerns expressed above, I also believe that it would be unfair to base admission to university courses on gender. Universities should continue to select the best candidates...
Governments decide where to allocate big amounts of money, so they can choose if spend more money on improving roads or on improving public transportation. In my humble opinion, it would be better if most of the money would be given to enhancing buses, subways and trains. In fact, this would help not only the environment but also the people who can’t afford a car and it would also improve the economy of residential zones.

The more digitalization accelerates, the more people spend their time on smartphones, let alone young children. In my view, this trend is caused by the attractive content that smartphones provide, and it brings a negative impact on kids such as mental and physical health problems.
