Technology has revolutionized our lives. According to some, technology has brought us closer to our family members and humanity in general, but others, they argue it has driven us apart. In this essay, I will discuss how technology has played a role in both bridging and distancing human beings.
While many countries evaluate that eighteen-year-old people are already adults, other countries do not share the same idea. I am of the opinion that eighteen-year-old people have the maturity enough to be considered adults because they passed the teenage phase, most of them have a job, girlfriend/boyfriend, may have a car or whatever and know what is wrong and right.
Nowadays, some individuals consider that living in the centre of the city may cause detrimental health issues. I personally agree to some extent with this statement, which I will elaborate more on below.
To travel across continents and far away cities, aeroplanes have been the primary choice of travellers across the globe in the past decade. One school of thought opines that stats should impose higher taxes to oppress air traffic to control air pollution. I disagree with this statement and will elaborate the statement to support my viewpoint.
It is argued that people like to live in another country which is why they have to use a second language in that country. Most people think that it will cause social alone with personal problems. I agree with the statement.
Having children in a family is not a common goal in society now. In this era, more and more people choose to raise the children later in their life. The reasons are many people want to enjoy their early stage of marriage and need more money to raise a child. In this essay, I will explain why the benefit of delaying having a child overshadow the potential drawbacks.
Many people believe it is unfair that some athletes are making a lot more money than people who have regular jobs, whereas others think that this is totally normal. It is often argued that international cooperation will strengthen the space exploration and it might experience changes in the future. However as to whether it is a blessing or curse, there arises a heated debate among people. As far I’m concerned, international cooperation will reduce the expenditure and expedite the process while the exploration might shift to artificial intelligence in the future.
Prisons are thought to serve only for the punishment of criminals. However, I am convinced that jail has other purposes such as rehabilitation and public safety.
In recent years, the majority of schools have made it mandatory for their students to do free internships in different companies as part of their education. This practice is beneficial for the students in developing a learning curve, but the major advantage is for the companies who get free labour to do their grunt work. In this essay, we will discuss the same.
Most people around the world play and watch sports. Watching their favourite sportsperson on television gives them immense pleasure. KH. Abdul Wahid Hasyim was born on 1 June 1914 in Tebuireng, Jombang, East Java (Aceh 1957, 141). His father, Hasyim Asy’ari, was a prominent ulama, the founder of Tebuireng Pesantren, and then established Nahdlatul Ulama in 1926, the biggest Muslim organization in contemporary Indonesia. While his mother, Nafiqah, was the daughter of Kiai Ilyas, a charismatic ulama from Sewulan Pesantren in Madiun, East Java (Zaini 1998, 19). Saiful Umam (1998, 98) states that the original name of Wahid Hasyim was Muhammad Asy’ari that then it was altered to Abdul Wahid due to his physical weakness during his childhood period. However, Abdul Wahid preferred to write his name as Abdul Wahid Hasyim and finally more familiar with Wahid Hasyim.
