Friends form an integral part of an individual's life. In addition to the instructions and teachings from parents, pieces of advice from friends also help an individual to reach greater heights. Therefore, it is important to consider whether maintaining companions for a long time or the ability to make new companions brings out greater happiness. From this perspective, I disagree with the statement and believe that the ability to make new friends opens up a window full of opportunities and contentment in one's life. I strongly feel this way for two reasons, which I shall delve into in the following essay.

To begin, at present due to globalization and the growth of the world's population which is almost about 8 billion, limited yet immense natural resources such as oil,forest and freshwater have become scarce. It says that by the year 2050, the crude oil deposits in the entire world will be consumed completely at this rate due to its excess usage. As we are not using these limited resources in a sustainable manner, our future generations will not be able to get the benefit it.
