In the contemporary epoch, whilst proponents hold the view that traditional subjects such as past are pivotal to be taught in school curricula, opponents have a diverse view. I am a staunch believer that pupils must learn their nation's history extensively. My contention will be further explained.

Nowadays, news headline-grabbing disasters more and more make people feel unsafe instead of bringing the actual headline that educated the people. Headline news such as earthquakes and floods bring the scared among the residents, moreover, there is no education from the government to bring understanding to the middle of civilians. I totally agree that educating people to understand the risk they face nearer to home must do, furthermore, it will help to reduce fatality during disasters.
